depends on the cricket and the human. because a legless cricket could not jump as far as a human. unless the human was paralyzed then they would both lose. but if they are both healthy then it still depends on the human. because some humans jump farther than others.

If you are talking about simply measuring the distance traveled the human can really outdistance the grasshopper. However if you take the distance with respect to the size of the creature, it no contest and the grasshopper wins.
