The venom of the cobra is Myolytic ( I think I have spelt it right.) The venom is designed, for all those who believe, to break down body tissue. The venom causes gangrene in mammals. So the smaller animals would probably be easier to digest once the protiens have been partially broken down.
The Cobra is an old world snake. So the prey that they rely on evolved with the snake. Consequently, the snakes venom relates to what it eats.
I have seen pictures of humans suffering from India of a person holding a blackened stump of a knee. The cause is a Cobra bite.
A baby cobra can produce enough venom to cause gangrene that will cause the loss of a limb. Untreated, death is a certaintity.
Myolitic venom from a snake is bad news.

Yes, the venom is the same as an adult only they do not have as much in the venom glands. A baby snake may bit several times before released so it can be just as lethal !!!

Yes. Their venom is the same strength as an adult cobra, but they do not possess as much venom as an adult. Both snakes venom are equally lethal.

Reportedly the venom of a baby snake is much more potent than the venom of an adult snake.
