well i think that they are all part of this earth and have just as much right to live here as you do. Most insects and spiders you find in the home for instance would never harm you, they are simply there to find a warm retreat for the winter, so killing them seems kind of pointless. But I understand if you have a fear of these little critters, then I guess killing them would be the best option.

Yes... unless of course they are a direct health threat to you or your family... like Brown recluse or Black widow.. or bees and wasps if you are allergic.

However I have a real problem with people who kill all spiders and bugs on sight.. it is pointless and cruel. I always capture the bugs in my house and put them back outside.. and if there are wasps I dont kill them, I let my cats take care of it because they at least eat what they kill and the life of the wasp doesnt go to waste merely because of my fear. I think all creatures have an equal right to live and in the past when I killed a spider I felt just as guilty as if it was a cat or dog that I had killed. Just because they are small does not mean their lives are worthless.

That's a personal choice - reflecting a person's overall beliefs about life, animal rights, religion... and other factors.

As for myself, I go by the general rule that if it isn't harming me, I don't harm it. So I let insects and spiders be when they are outside. After all, I am in "their house." Now, if they're in my house, I try to catch and release them outside. A lost beetle for example, or a moth that came in and is "suck" flying circles around my desklamp. (Although I let most spiders stay - they help keep out the flies/mosquitoes and other things I don't want!) Some spiders I catch and release - usually with my bare hands, and I've never been bit, not once.

Which brings me to the exception to the rule: true pests - things after my blood, mosquitoes/ticks/fleas, flies/moths which are trying to infest my food or clothes, or an angry wasp that is trying to attack me - in all of these cases, I will defend myself and my personal property with deadly force, if necessary.

Besides Mark 6:11, (Which will be God's wrath, not any human's) those are Old Testament verses. When Jesus came & died as a sacrifice for the world, it was so that all we need to do is believe in him to get to heaven. Remember, the Old Testament was written to Isreal, which doesn't mean we have to disregard the Old Testament, because for example, the 10 commandments can all be found throughout the new testament (besides observing the Sabbath). But Christians are under the New Law which is to love God & love others.

We have to kill insects. All farmers spray their crops to help prevent insect damage.....Mosquitos spread West Nile virus here in the south so we have Mosquito Abatement Districts to spray from trucks and planes....if we didn't kill insects our lives would be much different indeed.

However, that doesn,t mean you should go around indiscriminately stomping on insects.

Not really. Unless you go around hunting for them 24/7 for pleasure. Then you got some issues.

It depends. If they're outside, and not bothering you then ofcourse not! (that is if it's not a dangerous animal. If the animal is harmful, per say a black widdow, then I suppose it's ok to killit). If they're inside your house then you can kill them i suppose.
Good question thanks for asking !):) :) :) :)
