I found a very nice whale vertabrae in a sharks tooth pile when i was younger. It is about a foot wide and maybe 6-8 inches tall. It is in very good shape compared to others i have seen. How much do you think i could get for it?

I saw a nature programme a few years ago, and it featured an animal called "Proteus (something)". It was an eel like wormy thing with pink gills and a white albino body. It was also blind and lived in some deep water caves. If anyone knows the second part to its name please share your wisdom, as its doing my head in!
