Ok, we all know that Elapids are the most toxic, followed by Viperidae.

What most people do not know is that back fanged colubrids can be deadly. This is a primitive venom injection system that usually requires knawing on a prey item to inject.

I know that Boomslangs, African Twig Snakes, and Mangrove snakes are dangerous. The Boomslang and African Twig Snake have been known to cause human fatality if the bite is not treated. Most people do not consider a bite from a back-fanged colubrid dangerous and those who do not pay for it.

I was bitten by a Mangrove and can testify that I did not feel very well for awhile.

What are the other back-fanged colubrids that pack a potent venom whallop? I am talking about colubrids that can harm or even kill an adult human in good health?

My daughter has yet again stumped me with one of those fasinating questions, You know the ones where you dont actually know the answer to yourself. The one where you begin to question too.
Humans eat a variety of meat including Cow's, sheep, pigs, chicken, fish etc.
Have you noticed the main diet of the animals (not including fish) seems to be plants, grain ect. The main question here is : Do humans actually eat and animal which is a carnivore ( eats meat) as a major part of its main diet?
In UK we do not eat cats, dogs, tigers, bears, lions etc.
Can anyone answer this please.
I tried to explain that humans have domesticated cats and dogs. I have no idea why dont eat tigers, lions, bears etc. ( not that I would ever want to )
Any one out there with a better explanation for my daughter??

I am a Christian and I don't believe in evolution. I go to a public school, El Diamante high in Visalia to be exact, but I want to be excused from having to take the evolution course in Biology. Is there any way that I can be legitimately excused from it? Please help me!
