A wolf body is made for chasing large animals and bringing them down. To do this, they have excellent senses to for bringing them down and they have muscles and long legs for running fast. They have very strong jaws and teeth for holding prey.
The leader in the pack is usually the biggest and strongest. He is like a king. The other wolves in the pack usually do what the lead wolf says to do.During a hunt, howling may be used to signal the location of each wolf to other members of the family.
Most adults in the pack will work to find food for the pups and will fight to defend the pups. Wolves hunt a wide variety of animals and some of their prey is rather small. Beavers can be an important source of food. Some wolves hunt rabbits and squirrels. Others chase ducks, geese and other birds. When prey is really hard to find the wolves may even eat mice. When they can get it, Wolves seem to prefer larger prey like deer, elk and mountain goats. Most of these animals are hard to catch - they can run fast and are excellent mountain climbers. moose can easily go faster. In fact many animals get away.

They hire some guys from the midwestern United States who have rifles with scopes, hunting bows, wear camouflaged pants and drive a pick up. Did you still think wolves run on all fours and chase animals ?
Wolves are busy trying to learn how to play violins in orchestras and building civil engineering/architectual monuments. You fool.

wolves ,eat mostly small rodents ,rats and mice ,which they hunt alone pouncing on them when they see them.
in the winter they, when food is scarce they may get to gether and hunt in packs ,and can be very intelligent .such as driving a deer over a mountain cliff,so that it falls to its death ,then they go around to the foot of the cliff and clain their prey.
contrary to myth you will have a very hard time of finding a case where wolves hunted or killed humans ,
and in fact Naturist describe them as noble animals ,very good parents
i was once followed for 3 days by wolves (,in the Rockie mountains near Jasper).,who got closer everyday ,in the end one sat by the side of the road ,a few meters away from me ,we exchanged feelings and they disapeared ,never attempted to frighten or harm me
I like wolves

i won't be able to see any reason to limit wolf searching if the inhabitants will sustain searching. the only reason that i might desire to be sure that wolves should not be hunted is by using the fact a team of idiots are in cost.
