Some fish can enter a sleep-like state, but they do not hibernate.

A decorator crab is a very interesting specimen to examine for camouflage. It actually grabs things such as sea anemones and attaches them to itself for camouflague and since anemones sting, an active defense.

Shelters in the sea are very limited, most are usually burrows or natural cavities in reefs(or unnatural ones in sunken ships). There are also the shells that some animals have if those count as shelters.

Sea life adaptations are all the qualitites of sea creatures including streamlined shapes; gills for molluscs and fish; the salt resistant mechanisms these creatures possess; blowholes for whales, dolphins, and porpoises; and fins for pretty much all actively swimming animals.

The basic food chain in the sea is sunlight --->phytoplankton --->zooplankton --->small fish --->bigger fish --->even bigger fish(i.e, shark) or whale. Keep in mind there are many other chains, webs, and odd variations such as plankton directly to whale...sea life is extremely diverse and rather complex

Hopefully that helps.
