What kind of fish is this exactly?

This was allegedly caught from a river in Johor, Malaysia.

Hmm, I cannot tell you exactly, but it definitely looks like some kind of eel!

it might be some type of fish that lives toward the bottom of the sea or the twilight zone(thats what its called) but i believe it might be an angler fish but i know those typ of fish in the pic live way at the bottom of the sea well i hope this helps
