Any sort of ornimental shrub or bush or tree that you would like them to stay away from.
Once they have eaten this to the ground, they will then eat the hay and deer chow you have put out for them.

They are herbivores..so they only eat vegetation. Grass, leaves, and crops when they can get to them. Many deer hunter put out corn as bait to lure them to specific areas.

They do eat some grass but also a lot of tree bark and acorns that fall from the trees. In the winter they can totally strip trees of their bark.

Do you mean the kind that sometimes wander into your backyard? If so then that happens to me too, i give them apples, they love them. We have an apple tree in our backyard and we are always finding deer footprints and half eaten apples. They also like carrots.
