FDA banned ephedra again in August 2006. Did they find any solid evidence or adverse cases against 10 mg dosages? It is quite strange that an ancient herb which is used for hundreds of years, one of a sudden becomes toxic even in 10mg dosages. Any comments?

become resistive to around 330v of electricity over a long period of time due to continuous exposure to electricity?

just asking coz this is what happened:

There was this inter collegiate event, and i was the event manager(our cllge was hosting the event). Unknowingly, i did catch a bare live wire and i didnt quite feel anything and the fuse burnt out(like it does when theres a short circuit)....i didnt know if it was by fluke or wether epidermal cells can grow resisitve by the deposition of resisitive materials on the surface as i had been using a LOT of chemicals(nd i hadnt been careful enuf to wear gloves then) around 5 months before to make a mixture of resisitive Carbon based material that would also serve as an insulator(for a certain kind of glove).

so...is there any possibility of the polymer having been adsorbed onto the epidermal cells of my hand? and can it have any side effect?(there dont seem to have been any though)

My husband started taking the medication about a month ago in response to high cholesterol and now is experiencing what can only be described as a tightening of the muscles in his chest. I do not think it would be considered a heart problem and it is not extremely painful as far as I know, but he did not have this before he started taking the medication. Please respond with any information you may have. Thank you!

I am doing debates in my government class on assisted suicide, and it would be a huge help to be able to argue the point of how fast a person can die and what the patient goes through when injected; meaning, the stages such as coma and those kind of things.
