I got some basic ideas but i was curious what other people might forsee benefits from genetic research to humanity. (in the medical field)

Thru genetic medical research, there would be better understanding on genetics which would have a great benefit offered to help in resolving problems related to genetics and would also help to improve the human condition and prevent further problems.
