my dermatologist has prescribed me tretinoin cream 0.05% to cure my acne ( i heard its also good for hair loss, which is great considering i can also apply it liberally on my hair loosing areas) id like to know if theres a limit. Maybe until your skin starts depending on it? that happened to me once with hydrocortizone for another skin disease i had and my other doctor told me to stop using it because the affected area was addicted to the medication and it started depending on it.
The medicine is proving effective and it seems it akes about 6 weeks to see good results but i wanna know if i can keep on using it to prevent furthure acne?

What can I expect - I'm already not feeling too great - a lil flushed, a little sick, plenty of stomach pain and nausea - thrown up a few times - that stuff sure gets in your system fast - have I taken enough to do me in? Anyone have any experience or knowledge of the affects? My Doc said I shouldn't take more than 40mg a day.

Does anybody suffer from superb eyesight at night or when it is cloudy and dark however during normal daylight (particulary sunny days) the ability to see clearly and with sharp detail dimishes. road signs are particularly awkward and number plates. get vague explanations from opticicians, milky vitreous, opaque lenses, cataracts, all seem to have a different explanation. I'm in my 40's not a pensioner.

Mom had heart surgery, and head tumor removed 2001, I believe in the process of inserting the breathing tubes down her throat damaged the little flap that opens and closes when you swallow or eat. Since then is not able to eat a thing, shes on a peg, and so tired of been sick. The doctors and specialist in So. Texas have advised our family that the flap is not repairable. Please help with any advise you may have, or doctor that is known to do surgeries to repair this problem.
Question: Any way possible that this could be repaired by surgery? Urently waiting for your answer. If possible where can I find more info. on this deeper problem? other then an ear nose and throat clinic.
Could you please email me info, or mail me brochures on this kind of problem. Any help what so ever will be greatly appreciated!
I feel hopeless what do I do, to help my mom!

Is there anything a cancer patient can do to increase their chances of surviving cancer?

I.e. dietary recommendations?
Ive heard Cancer cells need high levels of folic acid than other cells. Should you consume foods low in folic acid then? I dont really know, I'm just thinking outside the box a bit...

Do diaretic tablets (fluid tablets) mask all drugs including prescription and over the counter. My friend is worried about going for a medical for a job he applied for. He does not take any illicit drugs such as cannabis or anything alike, but he took some pain killers given to him for a bad headache (which contain codeine and panadol) and he is worried because later on that day he got a phone call to go for a medical the next day which he applied for.

I want to reduce my prozac from 20 to 10 mg. My doctor was suggesting to take the 20 mg capsule every other day but I would prefer to take 10 mg every day.

I can break the capsule and take half... but the powder tastes really disgusting. Is it ok doing it this way? I understand the capsule is for "slow release" but is it also there to protect organs?
