What can I expect - I'm already not feeling too great - a lil flushed, a little sick, plenty of stomach pain and nausea - thrown up a few times - that stuff sure gets in your system fast - have I taken enough to do me in? Anyone have any experience or knowledge of the affects? My Doc said I shouldn't take more than 40mg a day.

Expect about a week a unexpected hallucinations - and I'm not taking about good ones either.

I OD'd on about 3 time that much and went into a hospital for about a week. I remember people taking the skin off the face and coming at me at night with knives (remember that sci-fi series V - where the aliens were actually reptilian with skin like human suits). I thought they were all out to eat me - I'm not making this up - REALLY!

I hope that small dose didn't do to you what it did to me! Good luck!!

Anti-depressants are the worst thing you can overdose on. These drugs damage your liver. If you damage your liver severe enough; it will not heal. You can not live with out a liver. If it is determined an overdose to be deliberate; you will do not qualify for a transpant. You can expect to feel sick, tired.

Serotonin syndrome is a rare, but potentially life-threatening adverse drug reaction that results from intentional self-poisoning, therapeutic drug use, or inadvertent interactions between drugs. It is an iatrogenic (i.e. caused by medical treatment) toxidrome. It is most commonly referred to as serotonin syndrome, however, serotonin toxicity or serotonin toxidrome (from toxic + syndrome) are more accurate as it reflects the fact that it is a form of poisoning.[1][2] Rarely it may also be called serotonin storm.

Please go to the ER to get checked.
