Many believe that you are born with a normal amount of fatcells that stores fat.
If you grew obese during puberty, your body will make more fatcells to store fat.
These are facts I read somewhere awhile ago.

But what I also read, in contrary to what many believe, is that the fatcells WON'T dissapear (your body won't absorb the exess fatcells that arent used) when you lose the weight/fat.

Is this true?
If yes, is there really nothing you can do about this?
(Besides Liposuction)

I put this in science/math/medicine, cuz most dietists dont know sh.... ( i really mean that)
There is no other field that has so much controverse omongst
specialists than anywhere else (me thinks)

My understanding is that one of the biggest difficulties in studying the brain activity of an alcoholic is that they are not able to see the mind at work. Is there a way to give my body for live specimen research?

Hi!
My question goes as follows: In the QRS complex, normally one has an A-like shape, being q, r, and s wave.

When the R wave gets to its peak, just right in the middle, what does it mean?
does it mean that HALF myocardium is de-polarized? or does it mean something else?

i have search everywhere with no luck, only to obtain the same
answers, being q wave the negative deflection, r the positve and s again negative, but i havent found what im looking for...

any thoughts?? thanks in advance...
PS: If you have the URL source i'll really appreciated.
and the same question goes for the upward and downward braches of the R wave (above baseline)

Is there anything going on physiologically / biochemically that would account for a person becoming really depressed or prone to crying while sick?

I've been sick with the flu for over a week, and now bronchitis, and I find myself extremely sad at times, and crying -- sobbing even -- at the drop of a hat. Is that normal?

Reading level should indicate that it's something a doctor would use -- use both brand names & ingredient names of drugs, side effects, interactions w/ other drugs & substances, etc. Should be scientific & informative.

If there's no such website, then perhaps there's a written form somewhere or a way to request such info from drug companies/pharmacies w/o being prescribed the drug as a mandatory precursor for such knowledge.

Thanks.

I thought it was supposed to decrease appetite and make the metabolism increased. I am on 0.25 mg per day. I do feel 1,000% better on it mentally (no more depression or feeling suicidal), but my appetite is out of control and I have gained three pants sizes in just three weeks (only Arbonne weight loss chews stem my appetite for five or six hours, but after they wear off I'm back to eating again).

Is this supposed to be mostly rote memory or what?

I can link and make sense of some info when getting down to memorizing drug facts, but some of these side effects bother me since they apply to all body systems and that seems like a overload!

I have sinus headaches quite a bit and am always combining 2 Excedrin with 4 Advil Cold & Sinus. I may take that entire combination once every day! And when I'm sick, I may take it twice a day! How bad would this combination affect my liver and/or stomach? And how long would it take to possibly damage the liver, kidneys, stomach and anything else? Any suggestions as to what to take or do besides this?
