Im buying a disection kit that comes with 1 Scalpel Handle # 3 with blade and 1 Scalpel Handle # 4 with blade. On the same website I also see a sale on scapel blade #15. Can i put a blade #15 into either scalpel handel? Can you put any blade on any handle (what are the limitations)? Why are there so many different handels and blades, which are better for which things (websites with this info would help too). Thanks

Hi. I've been taking 100 mgs. of Lamictal daily to improve problems with hyperactivity and anxiety. I have some side effects that include forgetfulness, loss of energy, and general "blues". I know I should talk to my doctor, but I know this drug is highly tolerated in most people, and am afraid I'll be given something even worse. Any experiences like this? thanks

I am interested in pharamacy, because I really enjoy learning about drugs/medicine properties and effects on body. I am in nursing school now, and haven't met prerequisites. Any comments/suggestions on how to meet this goal of becoming a competent pharmacist? I am unmarried and without children, if that helps, but I will work as a nurse after graduation and support myself through PharmD school. Thanks for any comments. Really appreciate it..

Do people merely try to "pass" ? I hear doctors who simply passed and nurses too, with "C"s. How true are these rumors? I am sure there must be excellent students in medical schools?

If this is so, is this going to lead to safe practice and how are patients supposed to have faith in doctors or nurses? or even PAs or pharmacists? ...IF this indeed is true.

I am going to PA school so that I have an option of being with my kids. They are only 2 years old and 3 months old. I want to be able to spend as much time with them as possible right now and I want to go to med school when they older like eighteen and sixteen. What is the likelyhood of being accepted into medical school and how would you go about doing that. My goal is to become a Pathologist.

I'm starting to lose hair on the top of my head and was hoping that using rogaine foam would fix the problem. I like my hair short. I heard rogaine hair grows to a maximum of 1 inch...that's ok in my opinion, but I just want to know if it will match the exact texture of my hair.

I have been randomly shaking for about 2 months now. It looks like a violent cold chill, but I am not cold when it happens. It has been getting worse, about 2-3 times an hour.

Any ideas as to what it is?

We live encased in scheduled activities which make sense as a system, but possibly don't take into account natural impulses to a great extent.

I would like to hear your guesses on how we would be managing the day if we were outside civilization, for purposes of easier discussion in a setting which allows food gathering when desired and no necessity of shelter (as may be the case on an "ideal" tropical island world).

As an example,
my cats follow all their impulses without consideration for any civilizational requirements. They demand food at 5am, go outside till 8, sleep inside till 10, take more food, go back outside till 12, etc., and at some stage around 9pm, go to bed and say there till 5am.

What would we humans realistically do? Do we have natural nap times we currently suppress? Natural feeding times? Natural bed times? If so, what might they be?

Please take your time. Thank you.

I'm a senior in highschool and I am having a hard time choosing between going to a public school in my state (UW-Milwaukee) which has a research facility and "above average national admission" to med school (although, im sure that is kinda scewed as it includes people applying from community colleges etc. etc.) and going to a more prestigious institution that is out on the east coast and way more expensive/unfamiliar to me.

Im wondering how much the undergrad institution matters in admission to medical schools. Is a 3.5 at a prestigious college better than a 4.0 at a state school?

I know that in general, in a case like this, a bottle past its date means that it is not as effective or has lost its potency. Does this go for the calcium as well? Is it just a precaution, or is it really not worth taking now?

Someone said to me that the calcium should still be good in it, but the not Vitamin D. What do you think?

Serious answers appreciated.
