I have been randomly shaking for about 2 months now. It looks like a violent cold chill, but I am not cold when it happens. It has been getting worse, about 2-3 times an hour.

Any ideas as to what it is?

The shaking begins in my neck, and hurts mostly there afterwards. It starts in my neck and travels all the way down to my hands or my feet.

You need to see a doctor now. It could be focal seizures.

You should see your doctor and have it checked out.
Could be some kind of muscle spasm in your diaphragm (that's what causes the shivering we associate with being cold). Could be a vitamin or mineral deficiency (maybe not enough calcium or iron) or something else.

A few years ago I was tobogganing down a hill and fell off and hit my side on a large rock. Every since, every once in a while (especially if I am tired or stressed) I go into the same kind of shivering as if I were very cold. The only cure was a very hot shower until it passed.
