There have been many results of laser surgery. Some are good and some are horrific. For starters, you really need to research the person you are planning on going to for the procedure if you choose to go through with it. Make sure they are a licensed board member and that they don't have many malpractice suites on them. Just because they are inexpensive, doesn't mean that they are a good eye surgeon to go to. Your eyes are to important to just gamble them away. Once gone, they are gone. That is a true life changing event. don't, heh. we don't have much data on long term effects of laser eye surgery, and the little we have is not too encouraging. remember, as we get older, we need bifocals, trifocals, and generally more and different prescriptions...once they burn away a piece of your eye with a laser, it's gone for good. what happens when you need change? you can't be burning away eye tissue again and again for ever.
