An otoscope/opthalamoscope is used to look in the ears/eyes- also used to look in the nose and the back of the throat.
A sphingomanometer is the technical name for the blood pressure reader.
They also use a reflex hammer to check your, well, reflexes.
I think the most important tool is listening and asking good questions.
