What do you mean by the first time you TRY it? Are you trying to get high? Morphine is administered by a doctor only. You can die from it and it's highly addictive.
Morphine is similar to the drug they use in veterinarian hospitals to euthanize animals. Think about that before you shoot up.

Well yes, not if you are taking the given amount. but in case you for some reason took more than prescribed it can cause CNS shut down, it also lower your oxygen consumption, decrease heart rate. So in conclusion you can end up seriously starving your brain of oxygen which can lead to death.
