My understanding is that one of the biggest difficulties in studying the brain activity of an alcoholic is that they are not able to see the mind at work. Is there a way to give my body for live specimen research?

No hun, I don't need free drinks. I just figured someone may as well get some use out of this life of mine. But thx for noticing me. I was getting lonely.

I refuse to answer under the grounds that when you sober up you won't remember asking it.

Newspapers in the larger cities . . . especially the larger cities (Baltimore's City Paper comes to mind) always have a few pages of ads requesting people to participate in medical research experiments -- testing new drugs, procedures, etc. Get in touch with one of these -- make sure it's a major, legitimate hospital/research facility -- and best wishes.

I think you have to be dead to actually donate your body, but you are free to volunteer for tests and trials!
