I am about to have my 24 wk check up in 2 days and was wondering what to expect? I heard something about a glucose test? what is that and would me being Hypoglycemia (not enough sugar in my blood) would that affect the results?

If i am pregnant, i would be six weeks. and sometimes when i stretch it hurts in my lower like it feels really tight. would this be normal? my breast just started hurting and i have lots of gas. im trying to wait another week so i would have to spend money on a test and then have my period come. but i think i just might today...i cant wait any longer

I was so mortified. The medical staff treated me like a cow. I hated being exposed to so many strangers like that. Why doesn't it bother other people?

I'm 30 weeks pregnant and I have had heartburn since yesterday. I have tried the Tums, Milk, Bread, Pudding, Jello and nothing seems to work.
What else can I do? Also what does having heartburn mean while pregnant? Something wrong?
This is my first baby so any advice would help.

Never had a UTI in my life. I didn't feel any symtoms what-so-ever (other than naseau, tired, frequent need to urinate, all to expect during your first trimester).

I went for my pre-natal yesterday, as I had all my blood work and urine test done last week. My doctor said we couldn't go further until we cleared up this UTI. I am worried because I have no clue how long I have had it for - as I have not experienced anything unusual (well, except for the same side-effects that pregnancy causes).

I am worried that it may have been lingering for some time now and that I put the baby at risk... what are the chances it has moved to the kidneys? Or would you know if it has? She said she found small traces of blood.... This is all so foreign to me.

Do you have any ideas on naturally inducing. I am 37 weeks and don't plan on trying any thing right now, but I am miserable. I hope it is soon to be over.

I just wanted an outside opinion on this.

I had sex with my boyfriend at the time in the middle of December. We broke up shortly afterwords. An ex-boyfriend came back into my life in January. I had a period on 01/14-01/18. The new boyfriend and I began having sex on 01/19 and continued until 2/14. I found out I was pregnant on 02/11. Unforturnately I miscarried on 2/25. When I told my boyfriend that I was pregnant, he asked how I knew it was his. He had been the only man I had been with since I had my period. Things got bad between us and he left the week I found out I was pregnant. A week after I lost the baby, he claimed that it couldn't have been his, he had a vasectomy.

My question is, Is it more likely that he is lying or that the pregnancy was a result of having sex in December with the other guy? When I went in for the transvaginal ultrasound, the tech said it was too early to really see anything (on 02/23).

My grandson and his girlfriend have been taking drugs and she is 5 months pregnant,she has been told the unborn baby has a gap in it,s spine right at the bottom.They have told her she can have a termination but they have to make that decision.
My heart is broken over this and i am only it,s great grandmother.Will this child survive in this world,does anyone on here have the same,what do we all do,it will surly be loved if it comes int this world..

The first day of my last period was Aug. 1st. My ovulation dates were last week through this past weekend. My husband works out of town on the week days, so we only had sex, Friday, and Suday. Last night, I woke up to cramps in my lower stomach, it felt like my period was coming. But Its not time for it. The same thing today, off and on I am having period like cramps, that are mild. Could this be a sign of pregnancy? Or is it too early for somthing like that to be happening?? Thank you for your help guys!!

Hello, I just found I am 6 weeks pregnant a couple of days ago. For some reason, I'm constantly worrying if I am going to miscarry since I have been cramping here and there. No spotting though...I guess I am just excited with my 1st child and I want it to go smoothly. Am I being too paronoid? Did anybody else feel the same way as I do? Any advice will be appreciated! Did you have a lot of pain during and after? Did you have any problems with odors afterwards? I have to wait 4 weeks for my results so any support would be great.

I take 2 home pregnancy test in the morning for this past 2 days.
It show all positive.
My last period is July 18th, and the cycle is about 30-32 days.
On August 6, my doctor did a blood work to check my hormonal (I did experience some irregular period) but everything is normal, eventhough the HCG level.
I called my doctor this morning, she said, maybe it was too early HCG to show 2 weeks ago.
If I calculate correctly, I was ovulate around August 4th, do you think its still to early?
How many days usually the HCG starting to show/can be detect on blood?

Hi, I am 32 weeks pregnant with my 4th child and i'm having severe pain in my pelvic area. It is so bad that I scream and cry when I try to roll over at night, it also hurts when i'm up trying to walk around but not as bad. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what the doctors can do? thanks angel

I am 27 weeks pregnant and I've been feeling really faint lately, especially when I've been standing up for a while. But today, I am sitting at my desk and I just feel really funny. I can't even explain it, but I feel kind of hot and lightheaded and a little nauseated (in waves). I know my bp is good. I'm worried about my blood sugar, though, because I'm at high risk for gestational diabetes. I don't know whether to call my doctor or wait for my appt. next wee, or if I should maybe go to the health dept. and see if they'll stick me and do a quick blood sugar test. Tell me what to do.

this is my first pregnany. and movies n stuff people always bring bags with them when they go into labor., do people still do that? im 16 days till my due date n my doctor thinks i might go a few days early. i dontk now what im suppose to bring?

A lot of people on here are urging girls to use protection or get on birth control and these are unmarried girls! Why aren't we advising them to abstain when it is the BEST method out there? Don't we want to offer them the best protection against pregnancy?

I'm only 6 weeks pregnant and already am suffering from morning (or all day) sickness. I had it really bad with my first pregnancy and was horrible sick until around my 7th month. I can't imagine going through that again, especially since this has started so early on in my pregnancy. Are there any ways to lessen the all day nausea and vomiting? I've heard vitamin B12, has anyone tried this? Any recommendations as to whats helped other would be great! Thank You!

Strange I know but when I am sitting down and I sneeze, I get a really bad pain in my lower belly. I dont rememeber feeling this before I was pregnant (but I guess it is possible as I am much more aware of what is going on with my body now). If I stand up, it doesn't hurt as much. (I know I know -- so stand up -- lol)

Anyone else have this? I have a doctor's appt tonight and I am going to ask but just wanted to know.
