They will provide the baby with one-sies, but you should bring your own pajamas for afterwards, toothbrush, hairbrush....just the necessities so you don't have to use generic hospital things. Pack the bag and put it in a closet near the door so when you go into labor you can just grab it and go. Also, don't forget clothes for you and the baby to wear home.

Ok, you'll need an extra set of clothes for when you come home, first of all. Don't bring your old clothes, bring comfortable stuff and easy to remove. Bring an outfit for the baby, onesie, little socks, a blanket. You'll need a carrier to put it in the car all set up, for yourself you'll need pajamas, slippers, socks and a robe to walk around the hospital in. Bring a magazine. Get them to turn on your tv, it costs like $5 a day or something. You'll need it to spend the boring time. bring your makeup, brush, shampoo, soap, etc. You'll want to shower after the birth with your own stuff. Good luck. You will get formula for the baby in the hospital and maybe a diaper bag orf trial stuff. I suggest taking whatever diapers and formula that they leave for the baby under the bassinet. Take it little by little. Listen to the nurse when she comes to teach you about bathing the baby and the amount of clothing it will nedd to wear too. Good luck. I can't imagine having a baby at 16, it is the hardest thing you'll ever do. Too bad you didn't wait.

Yes you should bring your own bag. You should bring things like clothes for you to come home in and pajamas to wear at the hospital so you dont have to wear a hospital gown. You will need toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant, hairbrush and anything else you use after taking a shower. You should also bring some clothes for the baby just a onesie or a going home outfit and a blanket. The hospital will give you a few diapers and wipes and a hospital blanket.

Absolutely, bring a bag and pack it NOW while you can still think straight !!
You will probably be asked to wear the hospital's gown, but that doesn't mean you can't take your own robe and slippers. Hosp. slippers suck ! Same with panties, most hosp. give you these things that look like fishnets (just don't pack your good ones, they may get messy). Make sure you take a comfy outfit to wear home, just nothing from your pre-preg wardrobe - probably won't fit yet. Some hospitals will let you give them a special outfit for baby's first picture (ours did). Either way, you will want a special going home outfit and blanket for baby!
Other than that, just pack like you will be staying in a motel for a night or two. Take personal items - toothbrush & paste, hairbrush, travel size shampoo/conditioner/soap, etc. I have to admit my vanity, cause I took my make up too !! I also made a trip to Bath & Body and got a travel size shower gel and lotion. (My son still loves the scent of sun-ripened raspberry) Just don't take anything that has a really strong scent. It may bother your baby.
If you haven't done it already, have someone put the carseat in your car now. The hosp. will not let you take your little one home if you don't have it ready.
Good Luck and Congrats !!!
P.S. Make sure that you have a supply of maxi pads at home. You will need them.

Yes it is a good idea to bring a bag.. you will need
1.something comfortable to wear after delivery.. those hospital gowns just don't cut it!!
2. Cozy socks, with a rubber kinda grip on the bottom. the hospital is usually cold and your feet get cold but you don't want to slip and fall. It feels funny walking around after you have the baby
3. Lotion, hair care products, tooth paste etc...
4. Lip balm- my lips were really dried out!
5. The baby book- to put the copies of the foot prints & make notes of things you don't want to forget
6. A call list of friends and family, to let them know you had the baby- you don't want to forget anyone
7. Baby outfits- the hospital usually has little tops but you will want to bring comfy sleepers and a cute "going home" outfit
8. The hospital provides diapers... use them as long as you can!! But bring your own in just in case
9. If you are going to breast feed (I hope you at least give it a try.. it is such a wonderful expiernce) you will need some soothing lotion... they sell it anywhere they sell baby stuff the best kind is in a purple tube.. can't remember the name
10. Camera and video camera with tape!!
11. I NEED a fan to go to sleep so I bring a little portable one, you might want to bring soft music or something
12. Snacks for hubby or who ever will be in the room with you
13. The car seat will need to be ready in the car, they won't let you leave with out one
14. If you are going to do a pacifier bring one with you!
15. A comfy outfit to go home in, maybe something you liked to wear when you were about 5 months pregnant. Pre-pregnancy clothes likely won't fit yet!
I think that is everything I needed. Best of luck!! I am going to use this list for my self now, so thanks for asking this question!

You'll want to pack like you're staying in a hotel for a few days. pack your clothes from when you were 6 months pregnant, plenty of underwear are you might bleed through some at first, and xtra stuff as you could be there a day or too longer if baby is jaundice.
Also, pack your favorite period pads. The ones at the hospital are sooo thick and bulky that they hurt, and look back and just suck. the ones for super heavy flow.
They have shirts and blankets and diapers for baby. But I packed a bag for my son anyway, which was good since they didnt have baby wipes, and i got sick of the hospital onsies.
Bring baby socks, thats something my hospital didnt have. Even in summer you want their toes covered.

Depending where you live, the hospital provides you with diapers, wipes and such, and formula if you are not breast feeding. However make sure you bring pajamas, quite a few changes of underwear, and buy your own thick pads. The ones at the hospital are garbage. Toothbrush, and all your other essentials. I brought cloths for my baby so that she would not be in a little gown from the hospital all the time. Good luck to you.

Yes, you want a hospital bag. The hospital will give you some things for your baby for while you are there but you will need clothes to bring the baby home in. For one most moms want to be able to put there own baby clothes on there baby, not the hospital gowns. You will want to pack up your favorite little baby clothes as well as the blanket you want him to come home from the hospital in. I am 37 weeks along with number 4 and I have always packed a hospital bag. I include clothes, blankets, diapers and wipes, socks, receiving blankets ect... You should also definitley want to bring some really comfortable clothes for yourself such as your favorite comfy nightgown and some loose clothes that are not tight against your belly to come home from the hospital in. Since you are so close to your due date you should pack up now and have it ready!!!

Yes people still take a bag with them to the hospital. You will need: A robe, slippers, change of clothes for when you're released from the hospital, an outfit for the baby to have his/her picture taken in at the hospital, an outfit for the baby to go home in, Kotex ( the hospital supplies you with ones that look and feel like a bicycle seat ), hair brush, compact mirror, tooth brush, tooth paste... Whatever you think you will need for 2-3 days. The hospital will give you a diaper bag, enough diapers to get home with, and enough formula til you get home. Good LUCK

The hospital provides things for the baby such as diapers, wipes, shirts formula and stuff but if you want to take your own that's fine too.Of course you want to pack your hospital bag and do it fast!!!Most women get them ready even a month before they're due date.Take the clothes that you want to wear when you leave the hospital, slippers, anything that makes you comforable like a warm blanket...and if you want to take an outfit for the baby to take pictures in.
