This sounds just like me. I get sick with ALL of my pregnancies and it usually starts around week 5-6. I will share with you the best way I have learned to manage the sickness.
First of all, go out and buy some Unisom and some B-Complex Vitamins (don't get just B6 or B12). Make sure it has at least 50 mg of B6 included. When you take B6 in a complex your body absorbs it much better and that can make all the difference for your nausea.
Ok, split the Unisom tablets in half. Every night about an hour before bedtime, take 1/2 of a Unisom and 1 of the B-Complex tablets. This will also help you sleep better at night.
It might take several days or up to a week for you to notice a change, but it should greatly improve your morning sickness. And if you are esp. ill, you might ask for a prescription for phenergan as well.
I'm 8 weeks pregnant now and at 6 weeks the sickness started with a bang. It was 24/7 with throwing up and everything.
I take 1 phenergan in the morning, 1/2 of a phenergan at noon and then the Unisom/B6 combo at night and I am AMAZED at how much better I am just 2 weeks later. I can pretty much eat normally and only feel nauseous when I let myself get too hungry.
I no longer have the 24/7 sickness that has plagued me with all my pregnancies. I totally attribute the improvement to the B6 combo because I've taken phenergan TWICE before and it never helped this much on its own.
Hope you will try this and it works for you. I can't believe I'm just 8 weeks along and feeling this stable.
Oh, another thing I would suggest is find all the foods and drinks you can "tolerate" and keep them handy for quick eating. Make one big grocery trip (or have someone do it for you) and get everything you'll need for the next month.
Some drinks that really worked for me are ice cold Gatorade and ice cold tea. I would buy the Ginger & Peach herbal tea and make it iced. Very good! Also, eating cold peaches out of the can is easy on your stomach as are very bland starches like baked potatoes, mac n cheese (or just pasta with butter), grits, dry cereal and muffins.
God bless and hang in there.

I never tried the vitamin boosts, but I did have morning sickness from 5 weeks til about 11 weeks. The things that helped me were sipping a half cup of ginger tea (around 6:30am) in the morning, not eating anything til I got to work. At around 8:30am - 9am I would literally nibble on cereal (the most bland food item I could find). Each time the nausea would come I would nibble some more. Sugar free Lemon discs were a savior, they helped me a ton. Popsicles helped a bit, but sometimes the sugar would make me nauseated. You have to discover your routine for handling it, just keep the food bland, drink things without a lot of sugar although Gatorade is good for you when not taking in a lot of fluids. Good Luck! Oh, and I could also handle fresh fruit in small bits too.
If it gets really bad, the doc can give you Zofran which is a good nausea medicine that I was put on after my morning sickness went away but had an awful bout of 24hr vomitting, nausea, headache which I went to the ER for.

I had all day sickness really bad with my first baby too, but it subsided after about 4 months. With this pregnancy it lasted about the same amount of time and was awful. My doctor gave me the medication compazine (i think i spelled it correctly), it was meant to settle my stomach and ease nausea. It helped some, but did not ease it completely.
A friend of the family sent us some ginger candy she bought when grocery shopping at the Asian grocery store where she lives. They don't taste the best, but it's so much better then eating raw gingerroot. It's very very strong and made me almost get sick when i tried eating a small chunk of it. You can chop up (in tiny pieces) fresh ginger root and add it to food you cook ifyou like the flavor of it. You can make or buy ginger tea or buy ginger ale. The only problem with buying ginger ale is that there are few brands that actually have ginger in them and not just the flavor. So if you try the ginger ale route make sure to read the ingredients.
Next, there is the old saltines idea. Keep them beside your bed and when you wake up in the morning BEFORE you sit up or get up take a few and munch on them. Give them a couple minutes to work there way down and then get up etc. This is supposed to absorb the stomach acid that causes nausea before it is able to kick in full force. It actually worked for me a couple of times, but as i got further along when i woke up i had to pee and not in 10 minutes, but right now.
I also tried peppermint tea, this worked enough so the nausea was bearable, but did not take it away.
If you have the problem i have now at 33 wks and in the previous weeks of everything making you gag here is what to do. It seems no matter what i do lately something is making me gag. Doing laundry, dishes, bending over more then once at a time, things that smell funny and worst of all going to the bathroom(both, not just bowel movements). The solution i have found is to keep a water bottlw with me or something to drink at all times. If istart to gas i take a sip or two and it stops it. I have gotten now so that i know when it is going to happen and just take a sip and sometimes keep the water in my mouth and swallow a small amount at a time so i can finish the job i need to do.
I have gotten now so with this i don't gag very often at all. It got so bad that i was gagging so often i would get sick and or spit up acidy nasty stuff daily. Now, brushing my teeth is another whole thing *laughs* brush fast and thoroughly and have the water ready to drink when your done *laughs*
Good luck and i hope at least one of these remedies works for you.

You can try these things. Most of them didn't work for me. I, too, was put on Zofran. At almost 15 weeks, I still take 4mg a day, and another 4mg in the evening if I'm having a really awful day.
1. Separate your liquids and solids. Not only does this mean don't drink and eat at the same time, but also don't eat things that have a high volume of liquid in them (i.e. soup). Eat a primarily dry diet, and wait half an hour after eating something to take in liquids.
2. Try the BRATT diet - bananas, rice (white only), applesauce, toast (white bread only, no butter or topping), and tea. You can eat other bland "white" foods, too, such as unseasoned mashed potatoes. This diet accomplishes two things...it's generally easy to digest, and it provides all the nutrients you need.
3. Smell or suck on lemons when you are queasy.
4. Everyone always says ginger. Ginger ale (that stuff always made me throw up), ginger root, ginger tea. Personally, I can't stand the smell or taste of it, but if it works for you then by all means.... You can also get ginger pills. Some people swear by them.
5. Eat saltine crackers...but I think if ever have to see another one of those again I will barf just from looking at it.
6. Get plenty of rest, and keep your stress level low if possible. Lack of sleep and too much stress aggrivate morning sickness.
7. Something that did work for me: on my sickest days, I drank Pedialyte. I started doing this after I went to the hospital for dehydration and vomiting blood. It's just like IV fluids. They sell a clear, unflavored variety, but I preferred grape. It doesn't taste bad when your sick and throwing up, and it helps replace electrolytes you've lost through vomiting. I found it easy to keep down, and that I felt better when I could take in more fluids.
Best of luck...I totally understand how you feel.

Eat small snacks throughout the day. The following work for me:
- crackers
- carrot sticks
- grapes
- chips
- cereal bars
I tried gingerale and the thought of it makes me want to vomit now! I have been on watered-down iced tea for the past week and can't live without the stuff!
Also, get as much sleep as you can, change your lifestyle around so you have calm and relaxing mornings (i.e.: I now get my work clothes ready the night before, get up earlier so I'm not so rushed, started eating breakfast, play relaxing music, etc.)
And just remember, they say every pregnancy is different!! There is a chance the morning sickness won't last as long as your last one. I got my morning sickness early on and now it is subsiding! (started @ 4 weeks, calming down now at 8.5 weeks)..... Best of Luck to You!

B6 is actually supposed to help. Also i drank ginger ale because they say ginger helps. It did help me but not much. I still suffer with it and am 6 months. Also eat little and often, but not to strong in smell or flavour. My ALL DAY sickness started straight away, that's how I knew I was pregnant,

Something that really helped my morning sickness and motion sickness is sour hard candy like Jolly Ranchers. There are also lollipops made especially to help with morning sickness called Preggie Pops.

The ONLY thing that worked for me was this stuff called "Motioneaze" I found it at a sporting goods store but you can get it online. I swear by this stuff. It was the only thing that worked while i was pregnant and the only thing that helped my grandmother through the sickness of chemo.
THis stuff rocks! I promise!!!
