she's only 14, the dads only 14 she swears she used protection....can the dad go to jail?? they are going out tho....

they are both under-age so the dad wouldn't be put to jail, its just a mistake that has happened. You just have to support her and be a good friend - you sound like you are! x

They are the same age I don't know why he would go to jail. I would try talking to her and help her see that talking to an adult would be the best thing for her. If she is pregnant they can help her seek out the medical treatment she needs. Protection is great-but a lot of protection is not 100% effective. You can get pregnant when using a condom.

First of all; The boy could go to Juvenile boot camp. According to law (in Georgia) the age of sexual consent for a minor is age (17) Even if they both are the same age. The parents could press charges. Weird but true.... Got some old friends that went through this crisis. It was considered "Statutory Rape" . One of my old friends is now considered a peta-file because of it. They both were the same age. He is now considered a public sex offender and has to register with authorites about his place of residense. Its twisted and sad. As for what to do; just offer morale support, if she is pregnant and the father manages to will the support of the parents and dodge the legal procedures; this will be a very stressful situation for the both of them.

I don't know about jail, but your friends shouldn't be doing this. What on Earth are 14 year old's doing having sex? What is the point of it? To make them feel grown up? That's ridiculous!
Tell your friends that if they really want to play at being grown ups, they should buy a doll!

What should you do? Well nothing because this has nothing to do with you. As for what will happen to your friend and her b/f...it all depends on the parents reaction. Her parents may want to file charges and they can and they may make her keep the baby or try and force her to give it up for adoption or worse...abortion. Whether you use protection or not....you alway run a risk of getting pregnant!!!! Sex is pleasurable but it's for REPRODUCING, whether human...animal...or insect...yadda yadda ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

14 is way to young to be having sex with or without protection but that asside she needs to get a test and find out for sure but first she needs to tell her parents. If they thought they were mature enough to have sex they are mature enough to deal with the consequences, that includes telling the parents!

they don't send them to jail if it was consensual and even if it was rape the authorities will try to help them .the family will have to know and they also should help unless they are the scum of the earth ,couldn't care less what he kids get up to,down the pub every night kinda parents. No, he wont go to jail, they are both minors and in a relationship.
You dont do anything except be her friend. Encourage her to talk with her parents.

find a local planned parent hood and go with her! They will give her options such as abortion and adoption and help her set up the adoption if she is against abortion! He cant go to jail unless he is over 18!

i think he would not be in trouble since they are both only 14. He would have to be over 18 to get into trouble. She better talk to her parents.
