I failed my 1 hr GD test, my sugar level was 170!! Could this be becasue I had not had anything to eat that morning?

I am not having an abortion. But I am not Anti-Abortion either. Nor do I plan on having one if I were to get pregnant. I am at a point in my life where I am getting married in 2 months and old enough and in a good enough job where I feel I could raise a baby. However when I was in college or even in my senior year of High School I had thought that if I got pregnant I would consider it.
So what I am asking if purely for education sake and maybe you can educate a few others who might have the same questions.
What does having an abortion feel like?
How did you feel afterwards?
Do you regret having one?
Any other information would be great too.

Please only people who ACTUALLY HAVE HAD ONE or KNOW the correct answers because a friend went through it. I dont want any pro-life people throwing in their comments about how horrible it is and what not. You haven't been there so please leave your comments to yourself. This question isn't being asked to get opinions but to be educated.

I know that full term is after 37 weeks. Just wondering if anyonce has delivered between 30-37 weeks and what was the outcome? Were there any problems with the baby?

I am 33 weeks pregnant and was prescribed terbutaline on Monday night for preterm labor. My husband and I did some research about the drug and did not like the side effects, so I decided to stop taking it. I talked to my doctor and she said that its fine that I don't take it. I am currently 25% effaced and not dialated, I just wondered if others went through this and how long after they stopped taking it did they go into labor. Also, my FFN test came back negative.

I haven't been throwing up or anything so it isn't like that - I htought maybe it was from eating too much sugar - but its there even after I drink water and stuff. I've been sucking on mints, but most have sugar - so I cut down to little tic tacs - but it comes back like half and hour later.... blech! So gross!! Anyone else deal with this?

So my husband and I are thinking about having another baby (we have a 2 yr. old daughter). The other day I came across a site that was discussing chicken pox and the very harmful effects they can have on pregnant women and their babies. Well, I don't know if I've ever had chicken pox, I don't remember having them and my mom isn't sure, she thinks so but can't remember either. There is a simple blood test I can do to find out if I am immune to them or not but it's kinda pricey and insurance won't cover it. Do you think I'm being overly cautious, or should I go ahead and do the blood test?

Ok, I was on the depo shot for a year before i stopped taking it. Whial i was on the shot I did not bleed or even spot, so i wasn't able to trake my pieriods. I got of the depo shot 4months ago and have been spotting here and there... little and alot. So it has been random. Last month I had my period i think, it was verry heavy and lasted 4 days. I used to have my period right after my mom would start, and it would last 7 days so i figured that this was my period. my mom was on hers and it was a lot more blood then spotting.
I should have had my next one by now if i had started back into my schedual... but didn't. I feel like i did when i was pregnant, but i felt like this when i was 5 months pregnant, and i guessed that i might be 2 or 3 months. I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it turned out negative. I feel like i am on my period, all the cramping and blouting...

What is going on here? do you think i am pregnant... or is this normal for a depo shot withdraw?

hi. im 35-36 weeks pregnant. and i have a few questions...
my doc appt. was today. he said im dialated to a one, im 50% effaced and the babys head has started dropping and im at a negative 3??? what does all of these things mean??? is being dialated to a one a big deal? what does being 50 percent effaced mean? and what is the negative 3?? is there anyway to tell APPROXIMATELY how much longer by these facts? please helppp..... im miserable.

My cousin recently told me that while she was pregnant her doctor told her not to swim in the ocean or lakes. Now I live right across the street from the Ocean, so needless to say I am in it all the time! My doctor didnt mention it to me, and I didnt think to ask, I just figured swimming was okay. But now I am a bit worried. Have any of you ever been told that??

For moms who didnt need inuslin, just checked there blood and did the low carb diet and exercise, did you end up having any complications, a larger baby or did the baby have problems at the birth? Did you end up being able to have the child naturally?

I have been able to avoid taking medications but I am still concerned that something could happen. I know all situations are different but I thought I would ask the moms on here what there experiences were

bleeding off and on since July 5th. On the 5th it was a "medium" flow of bleeding, which lasted a few hours, then stopped. It started again on the 10th and she said it just "litterally poured out of me" and the 11th and 12th it's a "light to medium" flow of blood. What could this be? Has it happened to anyone else? Was the baby ok? What kinds of test can the doctors do? She lives in Flordia.... PLEASE HELP

I missed 3 pills last month and decided to stop taking the rest of the pack. I was spotting for a few days right after I stopped the pack and I was suppose to start my actual next period this past Monday, but I haven't started and it's Thursday. right have been reading some of the questions about abortion and those aggainst it seem very religious (mmm they say pro life) What I want to know is if there is a god... and he forgives our sins.then why are these people so unforgiving....If He loves all aparently... yet my gay friend is not welcome in the church unless he repents??? repents what loving and caring for another human? . We don't know when she ovulates. Her last period was on June 6th. We had sex on June 22nd, as well as a few times before. She was scheduled to have her period around the July 7th. She had it on the 8th. We bought ClearBlue Digital. She tried it on the 9th (at night). Not Pregnant. We tried again to make sure on the 11th (in the morning). Not Pregnant. What do you think? Can she still be pregnant?

I myself feel more comfortable with a female rather than a male. I actually switched obgyn's because the male doctor that I was going to barely even listened to a word I said and he treated his patients like cattle. My new female doctor is amazing. She's open minded, listens, and has great advice (plus she has two kids so she's been in my shoes before!) So what do you think, if you had a choice, would you go with a male or female doc and why? I'm not trying to discriminate against male obgyns, but I trust female ones more than males especially if they've had children before. They know the kinda pain we go through, ect, ect.

ThenI got a really bad pain in my lower stomach that doubled me over. After that I bled heavy for about an hour. Then I just started spotting again for another day and I stopped. I have a blood problem and have been on the bc pill for 7 years. My boyfriend and I have been having sex for 2 1/2 years and haven't been using condoms for over a year. In the last 3 years, I've never missed more than 6 or 7 pills at the most and I just double up. Last month my period was a day late and then it was light for a day. Then I got a BAD pain in my lower stomach, it got heavy for about an hour, and then I spotted for a day. I took 3 pregnancy tests and they all came back negative. This month, it was almost a whole day late and I just spotted once a TINY bit on a tampon and then I've done nothing else. My periods are ususally only from Wednesday morning to Friday night.It's Thursday morning and that's all I've done, but my stomachs been hurting. Hi everyone. I am posting my question in this section because I know Ill get feed back from other women who know what I am talking about. I am currently 11 weeks pregnant as of today and almost 2 year married. Things with my husband have been real rocky the past few weeks. Ive tried talking to him about whats wrong but he always tells me "NOTHING". Last night when he got home from work within minutes he was being snappy... all I did was ask why he didnt call me to let me know he was working late. After he freaked out I asked him what was wrong and to just be honest with me. He then stood up and scrame "ITS THIS PREGNANCY. THATS WHATS WRONG". I had no clue what to say. I just started crying because I was under the understanding that we BOTH wanted this child. We ended up "talking" for over 3 hours and he blames all our problems on me being pregnant. I dont know what to do or say to him. I cried myelf to sleep and today I dont even want to see him. What should I do?
