Every woman is different, of course. I'm six feet tall and stared out at 170, I think. That's what the scales said at my doctor's office. In January, when I had my first prenatal visit, I was wearing boots, pants or jeans a blouse and a blazer. I might have taken the boots and blazer off. Last week, I was either 188 or 189. I didn't fully outgrow my size 14 jeans and shorts until the end of May. I still wear some of my non-maternity shirts and in them, I just look pudgy. It wasn't until the past couple of weeks that my firends and others at church started to comment that I was really starting to show.
Also, I eat very healthy. Whole foods as close as to what God made them. Sure, I eat some not good things, too. This morning I went over to church to return a couple of library books and to see if my husband wanted my help with anything. He said no. We were in the kitchen and had some leftover sugar cookies. I had one. I'm human.
My only problem (which is causing me some guilt) is that I'm not exercising. First, I felt too sick to use the treadmill. Then the treadmill broke. (Fortunately, we hadn't surpassed the 60 days of purchase so my husband returned it. It worked out financially, as my husband was able to use it for car repairs.) Then it quickly got too hot. Ugh. Eh. This kid is healthy. I don't doubt that.
This morning I told my husband that I'll probably just have some flab from some stretched out muscles. Eh. When we go back to school, I'm going to put joining the gym up there on the list with getting a new library card. (Although knowing the libraries, I could probably get some exercise DVDs and videos for home. Yet, the gym cost as a student, will be less than $10. Cheap, yes, and I'll be more motivated since I paid for it and I hate wasting money.) Im not worried about extra weight. I can still barely see and feel my ribs and just barely feel my hip bones. And if I'm a bit pudgy after, so what. It will probably good for breastfeeding.
I hope my rambling has helped.

It depends on the individual. I started off heavy. At 22 weeks I had only gained about 6 pounds. Right now at 27 weeks I have only gained 8. Which is good for me as I started off obese. Keep in mind when not pregnant women weigh all different weights the same holds true for when you are pregnant. When you are pregnant it is more about the number of pounds to gain.

Well, I don't remember what I was exactly at 22 weeks but I started out at 130 pounds. I'm 5'6 and was athletic and in good shape. I now weigh 192 pounds (at 39 weeks) - haha!!! I've gained over 60 pounds!!! Talk about feeling like a cow! But, it's mostly all baby - I mean, I see some gain all over but not much really - most can't believe I've gained that much. So - who knows what the correct weight is supposed to be - each person's body is different and handles the weight differently as well. Go figure. Congrats!!!! (And someone please tell my kid it's time to come out!!!!!!)

I don't know how much i weighed at 22 weeks, but I started at about 135 lbs. and went to 172 lbs. in the end. Now I am happy to report that I weigh 123 lbs. Way less than when i got pregnant to begin with and it is steadily falling off.

Well the fact is that I was eating so much during my pregnancy that I weighed about 180 when my regular weight was about 165. I ate a lot. It is not uncommon for a woman to gain a lot of weight so don't get alarmed just eat, laugh, have a wonderful pregnancy and enjoy the quiet time you have now and look forward to the beautiful life that is growing and living inside of you now. Take care.

Well, this is my second pregnancy so I gained my weight early and sort of plateaued early.
When I was 22 weeks I had gained 11lbs. I started out at 143 and weighed in at 154 at my 22 week check-up.

At 22 weeks, I weighed 130 lbs., which was a 10 lb. weight gain from my pre-pregnancy state (I usually weigh about 120 lbs.). I'm now about to enter my 25th week and I'm weighing 133 lbs. Oh, and my height is 5'3".
Hope that helps!

It all depends on where you started and how much your eating.
Your suppose to gain a total of 35, but I'm 5'1 and I gained 50 lbs. At 22 weeks, I was 132lbs and started at 110.
