For moms who didnt need inuslin, just checked there blood and did the low carb diet and exercise, did you end up having any complications, a larger baby or did the baby have problems at the birth? Did you end up being able to have the child naturally?

I have been able to avoid taking medications but I am still concerned that something could happen. I know all situations are different but I thought I would ask the moms on here what there experiences were

Thank you

I had a mild case of gestational diabetes with my daughter. I think that the highest my sugar got was about 180. I did not have to take insulin, but I did have a big baby. She was 10 lbs even. I chose to have a c-section with her, cause my Dr told me the risks to the baby if I had her naturally. She had low blood sugar (26) and had to stay in the NICU for 3 days. Now she is a healthy 2 1/2 year old that is actually very petite for her age. No one believes me that my little girl was so big when she was born. I am now 36 weeks pregnant and I don't have gestational diabetes with this one. (Thank goodness) I still have to have a c-section though. I can tell that this one is going to be a lot smaller than my daughter was. It is still going to be bigger than average but not huge.

My son was 9lbs 2 oz. I had to have a C-section, but my hips are pretty narrow to begin with and my Mom had to have them too. I don't know what size of baby I could have had naturally.

My son didn't have any problems at birth, he's as healthy as could be. And, I didn't get gestational diabetes the second time around and I haven't developed diabetes on my own.
Both my children are long and a little lean for their heights.

Please don't stress over the possibility of having a C-section. You may not need one if your hips can handle it, and if you do, you'll have a longer recovery but once it's over it's no big deal.

And if your GD can be handled with diet, chances are it's not severe enough to cause any harm to the baby.

Good luck!

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

With our second, I tested four times a day, wieght managed through diet (man that was tough when those sweet cravings hit). His was a difficult pregnancy. Ended up in hospital on 5 different occasions and was on pre term labor meds the last 4 months of the pregnancy. He was born two weeks early and weighed almost two pounds less than our first. Weight was 5.15. But now, a year later, he is happy, bouncy and into everything. Had vaginal delivery with him with a third tier episiotomy. The last bit of the pregnancy was rough and very scary. Just remember to check your sugars and take it easy.

My cousin had that. She had the
baby naturally, but he weighed 10.14,
he was absolutely perfect.
The next one, she didn't have any problems.
Listen to your doctor. Best of Wishes
