bleeding off and on since July 5th. On the 5th it was a "medium" flow of bleeding, which lasted a few hours, then stopped. It started again on the 10th and she said it just "litterally poured out of me" and the 11th and 12th it's a "light to medium" flow of blood. What could this be? Has it happened to anyone else? Was the baby ok? What kinds of test can the doctors do? She lives in Flordia.... PLEASE HELP

She DID go to the doctors.... on the 5th & on the 11th. They sent her home and put her on bedrest for a month. Thats what I dont get.

SHE DID GO TO THE DOCTORS, a FEW times!!! I dont me to be rude, but she isnt an idiot. She went at the first sign of bleeding!!! They said NOTHING to her, except go home and be on bedrest for a month.... dont get out of bed except to potty.

Mandy- EXACTLY, you coulndt have put it better. I wouldnt be posting this question on here if she had NOT gone to the doctors/ER already. My 1st advice to her would have been go to the doctors. (I am 26 weeks pregnant myself.... It's only obvious you wd go to the doctors right away for bleeding) I just posted the questions in HOPE someone would have expierenced the SAME thing.

Get real use some comman sense!!!! Some of you people really blow my dang mind! I feel sorry for her children! Next will you be asking what she should do if one of her children are laying their with their arm cut of or something like that?

Go to a doctor! I don't understand why people put serious health issue questions on here when it is obvious they need to be seen by a doctor. I hope everything works out okay for her, but she should have went to the doctor on the 5th!

Sorry, it's just that there are a lot of people who don't actually go the doctor's and ask questions on here. I'm so sorry.
Try taking her to a different doctor. But if the doctor didn't seem to worried about it, then her and the baby are probably fine.

It could be Placenta Previa that is what happened to my cousin and she is on bed rest now. I would mention it to the dr.

best thing for her to do is go and see a doctor
she also have to take things easy...no lifting etc.
