I am 13 weeks Prego and I always see stuff like "I lost my mucus plug" I know I have a while but what is a mucus plug and how will I know if I lose it?

I'm 36 weeks pregnant and for the past three or four weeks my skin has been itching like mad. I've tried lotions, creams, oatmeal, benadryl, hell even perscription anti-hystamines and NOTHING has even come close to being helpful. If it were just my abdomen, I think I could handle that, but this is ALL of my skin, all of the time. Anyone have any suggestions? I've talked to my doc about it and she just tells me it's caused by the pregnancy and will go away when I have the baby. But I've still got 4 weeks to go and it's effecting my sleep. Any suggestions?

-I took two First-Response at home pregnancy tests, both of which came negative.
-I took a blood-test at my doctor's office, which also came back negative.

I took these tests in June.

I am missing my period since the end of May.. and now it's mid-July and still nothing!.. Sometimes I feel light-headed and nauseous..

What's going on..?

i recently had a miscarriage in march, and after i started having horrible panic attacks and was diagnosed with panic disorder. i was put on zoloft and and xanax. the xanax was just for at night if i had an attack. well i found out iam pregnant and my dr dropped me off of my meds. i went through withdrawls from the zoloft for about a week and a half, but now my attacks have come back even worse and i have been having to take .5 a night. now i'm beginning to worry alot about my babys welfare. i dont know how to cope with my attacks, but i DO NOT want to hurt my baby. has anyone ever taken xanax during there first trimester and their baby still been alright. or does anyone know what the chances of miscarriage are when taking a lose does of xanax. i'm not a junky and only take them when i completely need to. i will be 5 wks on sat. please do not be judgemental i just need serious advise. thank you.

I have learned that a woman's vaginal walls go back to normal size, but I am still curious if this is true....does sex feel different for the woman or man after giving birth?

I'm 6 weeks pregnant today with my first child. I really haven't had what I think Morning Sickness would be like. However, I've had this intense hunger. In the mornings I feel weak if I don't get something in my stomach right away. It feels like i haven't eaten in days. It's like this at lunch and dinner as well. I haven't changed my eating habits either. I'm already 5'3" and 160 lbs, so I don't need to gain lots of weight with this pregnancy. My weight has stayed the same so far, and don't worry I'm not one of those who are scared to gain the weight. I just want to keep it under control and try to be healthy.

So is this typical at 6 weeks to feel this way? I haven't had any major nausea yet, and I hope I don't!

my gf got on birth control a year ago. 3 months ago she never got her period, during the 2nd month she did get her period and now this month she didn't get it again. She's taken 3 home tests and they were all negative. Has this ever happened to anyone? She doesn't have any symptoms.

My husband and i decided we needed to finish painting our house before the baby came (or it would never get finished). We have recruited our family and friends to come over and paint for the weekend to finish the project. I was in the house when we did the baby's room and our den.........but there was good ventilation and it was only the one room at a time. With the whole house being done at once it is going to be ALOT of paint. Is it best to just stay at my mom's for the weekend? I have read different answers from pregnancy books and wanted to know if any of you had done this before?

Some of you may have seen me post questions here before...this is probably quite normal but I'm sharing the experience! My wife's period was due on the 9th july but didn't come...so we've since found out she's pregnant which we're delighted about...currently experiencing frequent urination, lower back pain in the mornings when she wakes up and only goes away when she gets up...also tingly or sensitive breasts...BUT...last night we were having a great laugh watching TV and next thing I turned around and the tears were rolling down her face...snot everywhere! :-) She was watching the second last episode of 'sex and the city' for the 100th time!! Never cried before! I take it this is all normal! :-)

I know it's pain relief, but is it numb the way your foot is numb when it goes to sleep? Does it make your lower body feel al heavy where you can't move it? Did that bother you at all?

Yes yet another could I be Pregnant question.. honestly i try not to read to much into these things cuz i'm sooo use to being let down!! my hubby and I have been TTC for over 2 yrs now, I was on clomid for about 3 months and nothing happened!!! my cycle normally starts between the 6th and 8th of every month we are now on the 19th and NOTHING!! not even spotting I took a test and it was neg. LIKE ALWAYS!! now i dont want to put my business out there but i want to know if i am. please forgive me if i offend anyone. since the 27th of june we have been intimate once to twice a week (now i know your suppose to have sex every other day when you are TTC) but i was gone for 2 months for deployment and i got back on the 27th of june. lately i've been feeling kinda different my body is sometimes a little sensitive, i drink water or liquids alot more than i use to, which of course makes me go pee more. my tummy is always upset (like now) and i get heartburn to where i want to puke.

have you ever spotted and not been pregnant? we always used a condom and i didnt miss my period. its actually supposed to happen within a week. he usually pulls out even with a condom. but ive been spotting. pinkish color. what do you think?

I'm sort of overwhelmed right now. I'm 32 weeks pregnant with my first baby, a little boy, and up until now the plan was for my partner to work 50-60 hour weeks so that I could stay home, avoiding childcare expenses and allowing me to take care of my own baby.

Tonight, though, he said that he plans to go back to school in August and cut down to 40 hours a week. I'm all for him furthering his education, but we'll barely get our bills paid on 40 hours a week, so I'll have to go to work. Which is fine, except all the jobs I could get would leave me with $200 a month after childcare and taxes. My mom could babysit, but only after 5, which rules out most jobs. And school starts in August and I won't be able to work till November.

What would you do? Suck it up for two years while he earns his degree? Ask him to wait till NEXT semester so I can get settled in with baby and a job? Find an at-home job? Of course I'll discuss it with him but he's at work and I wanted opinions NOW.

im 34 almost 35 weeks and next week my man finally comes home...only thing is i am miserable...i cant stop eating and the dr told me to calm down on what i eat...i weigh 143...gained 4 pounds in 2 weeks..i cant sleep at night ..me and daddy to be were both 8 pounds when born...any advice on what to do to help out?

Tomorrow will be 1 month since i lost my baby girl. I lost her at 8 weeks. Im not doing to well. I have up until this point and now i am a wreck. I just listened to a song by the offspring called "gone away" it really made me fall apart. But in a good way. In the song he talks about how she was "pulled away before her time".... "it feels like heaven is so far away". And he "would trade places if he could". It is the best song for how i feel at this point. I just really want someone who is feeling the same way as me. Im only 19 and no one i personally know can even remotley relate.

She has 3 kids, & the ex-boyfriend from the 3rd kid is possessive, abusive, & controlling, & he still wants to believe that they're together. But the baby is not his, & she's 7 weeks pregnant. She was crying today, & she STRONGLY does not wanna carry this baby, but she's afraid to have an abortion. I didn't know what to tell her. & my best friend wants her to carry the baby so she can adopt it. What advice should we give her?

I was due for my period on Wednseday, had sex (using non condom birth control) on Thursday night and then had my period on Sunday.

My period was pretty normal, I am reletivly regular (on occasion such as last month I may be a few days late)

But now, a couple weeks later, my breasts are sore and I am tired (both sysltoms that I had on previous pregnancies. The first time I got pregnant like a week before my period (I miscarried) and then with my daughter it was 9 days after my period, so I am not exactly sure of my ovulation time.

Is it at all possible to get pregnant when you due for your period?

My family and I went camping. It was good... but there was no bathroom there so I guess we had to squat when we had to tinkle.. sorry TMI... anyways, it was always windy... so I was just wondering, will if you pee and squat in an open area, will air go inside you. I recall reading an article air is not good to enter the vagina because it could affect the baby in the aminiotic fluid.
