Once you are perfectly clear about what ALL the possible consequences are, physical, spiritual, AND emotional. and have determined that it will be a benefit to you and your future, then you MIGHT be ready.

Legally speaking, if you are under 18, engaging in intercourse can be considered statutory rape.

You need to be old enough to accept the responsibilities that go along with being sexually active. Answer these questions... Are you ready to take the chance that you could get pregnant? Are you responsible enough to use birth control every time you have sex, in order to prevent unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases?

As evidenced by all the questions on here, I know many, many teenagers are having sex. But considering the majority of their questions are "Am I pregnant?" I don't think teens can handle the responsibility that goes along with sex. I say wait as long as you can, graduate high school and then think about having a serious relationship involving sex. Why the rush? Sex is a very grown-up thing to do. Are you a grown-up yet?

Don't listen to people who say less than 16 years old. whenyou are less than that age it is emotionally and phusically an abuse to have sex. Your body is not fully developped for it yet. Also, never forget to use a condom from the beginning till the end of sex, pregnancy and nasty diseases that can ruins your life or kill you can happen even before ejaculation.

I don't understand what you mean.
it's quite common for 12 year olds to have sex but it can be emotionally dangerous -not to mention all the physical risks - until between 16-18 years of age; that's why most Countries set the Age Of Consent at between 16-21 years of age with a few odd exceptions where it may be as low as 14 years of age.
