I was due for my period on Wednseday, had sex (using non condom birth control) on Thursday night and then had my period on Sunday.
My period was pretty normal, I am reletivly regular (on occasion such as last month I may be a few days late)
But now, a couple weeks later, my breasts are sore and I am tired (both sysltoms that I had on previous pregnancies. The first time I got pregnant like a week before my period (I miscarried) and then with my daughter it was 9 days after my period, so I am not exactly sure of my ovulation time.
Is it at all possible to get pregnant when you due for your period?

Absolutely. Your peak fertile time is inbetween two to three week after the onset of menstruation (the first day of your period). Peak ovulation increases as it moves towards the 2nd week, then slowly declines to decrease the chance of pregnancy, HOWEVER, it is 100% possible to become pregnant during your period. Ovulation is always occuring. The function of the menstual cycle of the female is to mainly "clean out" the female reproductive cycle. Uteral lining (also noted as blood "clots") breaks down, also combined with unused, unfertilized ovum. This does not mean that you body has left the spot of the unused ovum empty after they are flushed out during menstruation; it immediatly begins working of preparing another egg for fertilization.
In essence, there is a chance you may become pregnant during your period. If I were you, I would obtain a home pregnancy test and find out!
Best of luck to you.

I'm not an expert but I think the best time to try and get pregnant is right around the time when you are due for your period that is when everything is right there and waiting to be fertilized and if it is not then your body removes all that stuff through your period.
I hope I was some help

That non condom method of birth control is not reliable. Go to the drug store and get a test kit and find out. The only reliable birth control method is just not doing it. . .If you don't want to get pregnant, it seems that it happens far to easy. . .If you are using the rhythm method recommended by the Catholic church, better look around at all the catholic babies out there. . .

checking out the day before your era isn't too early in any respect. 7 and 9 dpo is, notwithstanding, a sprint early. there remains a threat you ought to be pregnant yet attempt in the a.m. because of the fact your hormone ranges are a lot greater once you utilize the bathing room for the 1st time in the morning. stable success!!

You can get pregnant anytime; just some times are more fertile than others. If you had already started your period and the egg is still attached to your uterine wall then it can still getfertilized.

Yes. You can get pregnant at any time during your cycle, although the chance is highest when you are ovulating.

While there is a low chance of it happening, it can happen. The best thing to do is take a pregnancy test and see.

Since you got your period, I doubt you're pregnant.
You are seeing if you can get pregnant 3 days BEFORE
you got your period - right? Probably not.

You're able to get pregnant at any time, even during your period, before it, and after it.
