im 29 weeks pregnant and i got my glucose test done last week.. how long until the results come back?...
and if the results were bad would they have called me.. or do i have to wait until my next appointment with my dr and she will tell me?...

I want to get my pierced tongue today, but alot of people have negitive things to say about why I shouldn't get it but they really never give me a reason regarding my baby. I am 6 months pregnant I know all the risk regarding infection and pain towards me and what not but Is there really a risk just to my unborn child

I'm roughly 35 weeks pregnant or so. I've gone through all the prenatal testing needed up to this point with the exception of Amnio since the doctor said it's unnecessary for me. I've stated in another question in the past that I've had a huge amount of weight gain - near 60 pounds now.

I'm going to the doctor in a couple hours but real curious about this thirst.... The last few days, no matter what I drink, I cannot quench my thirst. I keep trying to drink more and more but all it's doing is sending me to the bathroom even more. My mouth feels so dry and icky!

I've heard that between my weight gain and the thirst problem there is a possibility of diabetes. Has anyone had their gestational diabetes tests come up negative but still had it?

I have plenty of concerns I'll be talking to my doctor about today - this as well as other issues. I just want to know what others have experienced.

This was our first cycle ttc.i just took a test and the second line showed up but it is very light. i know they say any line, no matter how faint is positive but it's hard to believe. What are evaporation lines that i've heard about? could it be an evaporation line? This is just crazy i figured it would take a least a couple months.

I went to confirm my pregnancy and the walk in doctor told me that he doesn't think my pregnancy is viable (because my first blood test showed a HCG level of 36). He told me I will definitely miscarry or that I'm having an ectopic pregnancy. He sent me for a vaginal ultrasound and the results showed that there was a gestational sac present but no yolk sac. At the time I was 4 weeks pregnant. My second blood test (2 days later) showed that my HCG level is 106. The walk-in doctor told me not to get my hopes up that this is unlikely viable. Can you see the yolk sac on a 4 week ultrasound? This doctor has convinced me that I will not continue this pregnancy. This is my first pregnancy. I'm going into my fifth week and have done nothing by worry! I always thought my first pregnancy would be filled with joy and anticipation. Instead I'm scared out of my mind.

By accident I bought extra stregth tylenol, its 500mg each, if I have a headache could i take just one, and would be okay, or should i go out and buy a regular one. I have been smoking 6-8 ciggies a day and kick off with a few cans of beers whenever I finish work. I had a mild abdominal pain which i thought initially was my period tick. Somehow, I decided to take the preggie test and it came out positive. I am freaking out now. coz I have bought 2 sets of 4 tests which all came out positve. I am happily married, just stresses a few and there out of work. My husband is ultra thrilled and so do I. i have stopped my bad habits on both smoking and drinking now and wondering if all the ignorance over the weeks could harm my little one in my wombs. please tell me it`s o.k. i am freaking out. I went to the gynae and he showed how tiny my lil` one is and I worried if something could go wrong considering of my past lifestyle and habits...thanks in advance!

I have a couple questions. I am not sure how pregnant I am cause i havent gone to the hospital cause i have been really busy with my grandfather being in the hospital etc. I dont know how many months i am or if i am healthy and i want to put it up for adoption and i dont know how to do that. also i constantly have like a heartburn feeling is that normal? are you suppose to feel the baby kick? will the docs yell at me cause i havent come in to the hospital yet? is it a lot of money when you go get checked up? if you can answer one or all of these questions please let me know.

Ok I was told that I have gestational diabetes and that I need to test my sugar lvl's 4 times a day. The only problem I have with this is that since I've been testing my sugar lvl it's always in the healthy non-diabetic area. Usually around the 90's. Did my Dr. make a mistake? I'm not going to keep testing my blood for the heck of it...this is annoying and pointless if you ask me.

This is my 3rd pregnancy - I have been plagued by kidney stones and now menstrual cramps with low back pain. I hate to think I'm going to feel like this for the next month but know I probably will. I have seen bits of my plug in the past 2 days so I'm holding out hope that maybe this one will come early. I don't remember the menstrual cramping with the other two - just braxton hicks. Does dilation cause the menstrual cramping?

I just found out that I am pregnant only 3 weeks though. This is my second pregnancy the first one ended after 5.5 weeks. Now I feel like I can't be too excited because so many things can go wrong. I made an appointment for the 26th of June but that is still 2 weeks that I have to wait. I also decided not to tell anyone but my husband which makes it less exciting cause you can't tell everyone. I fell indifferent maybe because I don't want to get my hopes up. Is anyone in a similar situation?
