I just want to know how long after sex do you have to wait for a home pregnancy test to acurately determine if your pregnant or not?

The earliest you should take the test is about 2-3 days before you are expecting your period. The EPT test will be able to determine by then although I would test again a little further along just in case it missed the chemical in your body.

It depends on how close the woman is to ovulation... as a gneral rule most women wont notice a change inthier bod until six weeks after sex, or a missed period. Some prgnancy tests can tell you as early as two days before her cycle begins, but they dont have a timeline for how close to sex. hope this helps. Most test are pretty accurate at about six weeks of pregnancy

If you want definate confirmation , wait 9 months if a baby pops out, then yes you were pregnant. Patience is the best pregnancy test!!!

If you conceived then a minimum of 10 days or so. But you really are best to wait until you actually miss a period by a few days.

Usually after a missed period, but there is one called "First Response" that you can take up to 5 days before your expected period.

There are pregnancy tests you can take now like a week before your 1st missed period and they are very accurate.Try one of them!

usually about 2/3 weeks this allows for enough hormons to build up in your body although some tests as sensitive and can be done sooner
