If they were high they would have called you because high blood sugars are dangerous to the baby. You could call your doctor's office to ask them, but most likely everything is fine.

The lab results are usually done within a few hours. It depends on the lab on how soon testing was done and how soon results are sent to the physician. If you know what lab the testing was done at, you can call the lab and have them tell you the results. They will not interpret them for you other than to say if the value is low, high, or at the reference range. If you don't know what lab it was done at, you should be able to call the Dr.'s office and they could look it up for you. An active approach is good because people make mistakes and forget to tell you important things sometimes.
If your result was high, they should be calling you back in to get a follow-up test before diagnosing you with gestational diabetes.

My results were normal and they didn't call to tell me. I just asked about it on my next appointment. I think every doctor is different, some will call regardless, and some only call if they need to follow up. If the doctor doesn't tell you, then ASK. They get the results in about a week, so if you want, you can call them this week and just ask the nurse to check your chart for the results. Don't be shy, you have every right to know.

Good luck!

they likely would have calld you by now if you needed to be worried. It takes a few hours to process a glucose lab, and a day or so to get the results to the dr.
