Braxton Hicks. Its the way your body is preparing itself for the real labor. If your water breaks...or if the pains become consistant and within a few minutes apart you should call your OB right away. Good Luck!

Your body is just getting ready for what's to come, so stand by. A baby is considered "term" any time after 37 weeks so you probably don't have long to wait. That said, I was in this kind of slow labour for 2 weeks with my second.

I'm not an expert, but as the weeks close in to 40, your body will do all kinds of things like this, your body is preparing and practicing and getting ready to do labor.

I had equivalent sharp pains round this time additionally. I used to be specific my little one's foot used to be kicking his method out!!! But I used to be informed that this used to be typical... and ultimately they went away and it used to be simply side of the development of work. I attempted the whole lot to get my little one out - pineapple like you would not feel (eleven months later I nonetheless can't even appear at a pineapple!), highly spiced meals, intercourse, the whole lot. But... that little one will pop out while he/she's well and able! Unfortunately, I could doubt the "sharp" pains could be a signal of work for this night. I suppose it is most of the time extra of your little one relocating in some way that's uncomfortable for you - however you on no account realize! Anything IS possibe! Good good fortune!
