im trying to conceive so the doc took me off birthcontrol i havent had my period this month. im going to get a pregnancy test tomorrow but i was wondering what some of the symptoms are (besides the obvious ones) i know i wont know anything until i take a preg. test but i was just wondering. please feel free to share some personal experience. also how early can a preg test detect the hcg hormone? my sister n law said you cant until 42 days

Does anybody know if there are such things as maternity 'plans' or insurances that you can take out in the UK?

This would be to pay into monthly until you have a baby and then it would pay out, supplementing statutory maternity pay.

I don't mean health cash plans that pay out a small amount on the birth of a child - more of a longer term thing.

Not sure if they exist in this country.

I'm not due for a while but i live about 20 minutes from the hospital i plan on delivering in. Should i be close by when the time comes around, or once i feel my labor coming on will i have time to get there? how much time passed by once you started contracting?

I had my period last month on the 7th of April. This month i still didn't get any. It is the 13th of May and my period is not here.
I feel a little back ache like I usually feel before my period but thats it. My breast hurt. Can I be pregnant?

On my moms side, twins have been skipping a generation.. (GGgrandma had three sets, Ggrandma had none, Grandma had 1 set, Mom had none...) theyre all fraternal and I was wondering if I had a chance of having some?
This is my first pregnancy (All of the women who have had them, had the twins after have a couple singles first).


My question is: seeing as this is my first, would I be more likely or less likely than the average woman to have twins.. even though all the women in my family had them in later pregnancies.

Dearest one,

Mysteries has gone in my life. Life has become restless for me in this

wealth hence my mother died five years ago of cancer.

account and the person will help me to invest the money in his or her
country. My father finally died on 29th of September and since then I
was out of school and went into hiding because of my father's
associates.

i have an ultrasound tomorrow and ill be 17 weeks how accurate at this point would you be able to tell the sex of the baby? is anyone this far along or futher that had an ultrasound at this many weeks or earlier and found out the sex? and was it correct..

Has anyone had luekorhia [sorry not sure how to spell it] that was identical to egg white cervical mucus [ewcm] during ovulation? I missed my period last week and just found out I was pregnant. It was planned. I been having discharge every so often during the day that is identical to ewcm, the stretchiness and everything. I am 31wks pregnant and I had a ultrasound at 19wks and the lady said she would not tell me what the sex was unless she was at least 70% sure, she said it looks like a girl. Are they usually right about these things? Is there any signs that my lil bubby is a gurl.

Well, in Mississippi it's illegal for a woman to have an abortion. My best friend Porsha is VERY sexually active so every time she gets pregnant she drinks vinegar to get rid of "it". I was wondering if vinegar really does work or is it something else.

I was in the process of weaning myself off Paxil when I got pregnant. I must have taken it for the first 2 weeks, but only 10 mg. I'm totally off it now. Do you think I did any damage that will cause the baby problems if I took it for such a short time? I'm in a breastfeeding delimma and I haven't even had my baby yet. What I need to know i- What do I do??

My mother has breastfeed every child she has until atleast 2. My youngest sister and baby brother were breastfeed to 4. I was till I was 3. DON'T BE HOMOPHOBIC. I TURNED OUT JUST FINE AND AM SUPER HEALTHY AND NO I CANNOT REMEMBER BREASTFEEDING. If you don't have something nice to say then don't say anything. THANKS.

I'm not going to be that extreme with breasfeeding my child but I do want to breasfeed, I'm pretty sure.

My mother in Law says breastfeeding is not the right thing to do. She says that it's important to bottle feed or pump or use formula because if something happens someone else can feed my baby. I DO NOT WANT ANYONE ELSE FEEDING MY BABY. I want to feed my baby period. I'm not having a babysitter unless for extreme cases of emergency and I am not putting my kid in daycare. That's just how I feel and his family is pro daycare and working mothers.

I was just curious if anyone went to there 36th week appt and found out they were dilated? and if so how long after did u give birth?
