what would these cramps mean?

i am 26weeks pregnant with my first and my problem is these cramps what would these cramps mean i have had them for 5nites a guess it feels like period cramps and usual happens at night when am in my bed sleepin but does sometimes affect me during the day but mostly at night but when i get the cramps they dont get worse it stays for 30mins and that is it

Try drinking a liter of water before bedtime. It may be that your are contracting due to dehydration. I would also definately let your doctor know that you are contracting every night. I would also try changing positions too. It may be round ligament pain. Good luck.

braxton hicks is what comes to mind, but they should not last 30 minutes! 1-2 minutes at the most! it could also be round ligment pain caused by the baby growing and you stretching...i would call your dr just in case....if it is getting warm where you live, like it is here, you could be dehydrated which can cause early labor....call the dr...that is what they get your money..to take care of you and the baby!

when i was pregnant with my first i had the same thing and it turned out it was my ligaments and muscles stretching, it is quite uncomfy, but it should start to go away in the next 2 weeks, try doing some stretches or massaging the area.

i used to get alot of cramps when i was pregnant im not sure why i got them but i got alot of them and my doctor wasnt one bit worryed about and i had a healthy baby girl. i wouldnt worry to much about it but i would bring it up to your doctor at your next appointment just to make sure that there isnt anything wrong. good luck :)

Maybe it's gas. Who knows
