Pregnancy - May 2007

i have been dealing with couple or weird systoms
morning sickness, sharp pains in my breast, diaherra, i stay sleepey and weak like and for some strange reason i can't stand to watch my husband eat it makes me sick to my stomach. i guess you could say i have very weird mood swings, but for the last couple of day my morning sickness and wanting to cry all the time when im alone is very bad,
only when im alone do i feel the need to cry, but when i'm with some one i'm either really happy or in a really bad mood
i'm getting really conserned, and my husband is starting to worrie. took a hpt and it came out neg.
i was told that it was something else, but, i'm need to be sure. please be serious with your answers , i'm real worried

My husband and me are expecting our first child soon. I'm currently 31 weeks pregnant.

Question is:

Should we celebrate Mother's/Father's Day this year, or should we wait?

My husband bought me a gift for Mother's Day, which I thought was so very sweet but I don't want to throw any kind of bad karma into the pregnancy.

When the doctor did the ultra sound he could not see the baby. From what he measured the baby was only 5 weeks he said that eather the baby is to small to see or there is no baby at all. He also said that their was some fluid that could be blood coming from the sack, he also said that it could be some other fluid to. What do you all think am i misscarring or is the doctor crazy.

i am 39 weeks pregnant and I have being constanlty leaking....if its urine or water i amnot sure... I cant go to the OB untill another hour----
Everytime i stand or when i am sitting , it feels like pee and then it just comes out....could it be that my baby is so far on my bladder that i have no control right now... i was 2 cm dialted last week, and I have been having some contracts but nothing serious, just back pain....

What kind did you use?

Did you combine that with any other pain managment meds or techniques?

What did you think of it?

Did you, or your baby have any negative side effects?

Hi i am pregnant with our 2nd (first is nearly 5yrs old) im only 17weeks and this pregnancy came as a bit of a shock but we are all so excited, yet i can help but feel petrified when i think of giving birth. with our first i had an epidural,(ah pain free) this time round the hospital do not do epidurals and its more about natural 'water birth' pethidine etc i do like the idea of a water birth but i keep having nightmares that i am in severe pain and that i die from the pain!! i want to laugh but i genuinely am petrified. can anyone offer any advice whatsoever.

Hi, I'm almost 8 weeks pregnant and I guess you could say I'm just "worried" right now about something happening to the baby. Call it over reading things in books or on the internet but I am. How soon do you know if you have had a miscarriage? And what about the fetus dying inside? I have read where it can take up to days or weeks before you know this for sure. Do you usually have cramps when this happens or bleed? I was having very minimal cramping early this week kind of like a few days before you start your period nothing painful. I went to doctors on Mon and Wed. got blood tests and my hormone level has been going up which is great. My breast soreness is almost completely gone and I am just not hungry much at all..i'm just concerened. Is it all in my head?? Please help me answer these questions. Thank you all very much

I'm 35weeks with gestational diabetes. This morning I ate my morning snack a little late and my sugar was low (I felt shaky). A few minutes before I ate and up to an hour after my tongue felt tingly like it was going numb. What would cause this. Should I be concerned or call the doctor? I feel okay now.

Could it be because my sugar was low or something else?

I am 10 weeks and just on Progestrone and Folic acid and methylcobalamine. When to start taking Ironand calcium. I hve seen some women taking from 1st week while some docs ask to start from 12th week. Why so? What other minerals i need..Vitamin B, C, D, A, E ...anything else? All doc prescribe different medicines. So feeling a bit confused. Expecially abt Iron and Calcium.

hi im 8 weeks pregnant and feel like crap!!! i know this is normal but wondering if u have any advice. im so tired all the time, an constantly feel sick from the mo i wake up til i fall asleep,i cant stop sleeping and find it hard to concentrate. im wondering what are the best vitamins to take whilst pregnant. so far im taking folic acid. also ive hard the worst tooth ache for a few days, im goin to the detist soon(im so scared of the dentist) but would like to know how i can get some more calcium in my body(can i get calcium tablets) thank you all for ur answers. x

Hi, Please dont yell at me. I am 17 weks pregnany with my first. I took prenatals religiously for the first three months, I began to throw them really bad towards the end so my doc told me to take 2 flintstones a day instead. I have been doing this for the past month but not taking folic acid, should I be? I have a doc's appointment next week, but I checked on the internet and ther is such conflicting evidence, I also eat apples and salad everyday which has a lot of folic acid, plus what is in the flintstone. Should I just go to the drugstore and get some? Please dont tell me Im a bad mom!

I went to the doctor for the first time yesterday & they said that I am 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant, But that I actually got pregnant 3 weeks ago. What is a good way to explain to my boyfriend that the doctors start counting on the first day of my last period and not the conception date? He thinks that I cheated on him, which I didn't. my best friend is having a baby in 3 months....she is was very skinny before she got pregnat and is tall but a tiny stick figure (= she basicaly has no fat then this huge belly! well her husband is in Iraq and is supposed to come home a day before she is due but i keep hearing that when your very skinny the baby will be early because it runs out of room faster...is this true? we were kind of hopeing she would be a couple of days late...
