The baby is only going to grow as big as her body can handle, grant there are people out there who don't have this luck and I feel for them.
Each woman's pregnancy is different regardless of size. If her families history shows no preemies and are usually due on time, chance are is that hers will arrive just in time.
I've known plenty of skinny woman who have gone way past their due date and some of them, it was their first pregnancy.
Unless she is getting unhealthy, I don't see any reason why her baby will arrive any earlier than it should.

1-4 are all false. 1-massage chair won't hurt you, but if it's heated you need to watch how warm you get 2. is an old wives tale, a lot of people find it is true, but many find it is false, not something that can be relied on 3. it can't hurt the baby, but it can potentially hurt you. The baby can put pressure on a major artery and if you sleep on your back for a long time and you start to feel like you should roll over bc of the discomfort and you ignore that for a long time, then yes it can potentially cause problems for you. 4. not unless your Dr. tells you not to have it. In a normal pregnancy it does no harm and in the end the sperm can help soften and thin your cervix, but there are some complications during pregnancy that your Dr. may advise you to stop having sex.

I just giggled a little. That is so not true. The baby doesn't have any more or less room in a small or big girl. The baby can only move as far as the placenta will go and placentas grow as big or small as they need to be in anyone regardless of size. And it is not always true with everyone but, most first pregnancy's do run late. I did, and most everyone I know ran even a couple of days late with the first. I really hope he makes it, it will be special.

It all depends on her body and when the baby decides it's ready. I know a very very skinny person also and she went a couple days early, but that's not a big deal. I also know someone who was 4'9 and 95 lbs pre-pregnancy and she had a 10lb baby and was induced because she was a week overdue.

I don' t think it matters what size you are. I was very thin before having my first child. He was 10 days late and weighed over 10lbs. Most people couldn't believe I was even able to have him naturally. He had definitely run out of room and I was extremely thin. If she goes early, it will be b/c the baby is ready, not b/c of her size. Hopefully he/she will cooperate:)

It's not true. Skinny or Fat don't have to do anything with giving birth early or late. Depends on your baby.

I've given birth twice. I am 5'2" tall. I weighed 99 lbs. That is not much room for another human being to gestate. The 1st pregnancy and went full term. Gave birth to a 7lb. baby. 2nd time went full term and gave birth to a 7.2 lb. baby. I have never heard this myth.

Babies only come when they are ready, running out of room doesn't really have much to do with it. I had a friend much like you described & she went into labor 2 weeks late...the day before they were going to induce her.

I think because she is tall she would have plenty of room. Babies don't hide in fat. If she had a very short abdomen that might be true but even then I doubt it.
