Yeah, with the cooperation of your little one and the right machine they should be able to tell you the sex. The earliest that I've heard of anyone finding out the sex is 15 weeks. I had mine at 20 weeks but my friend had an ultrasound at 16 weeks and they were able to tell her the sex. I drank a little caffine before I went so he would be active. Her pictures make it pretty easy to tell he's a boy. He has his little legs wide open. lol. Good luck!!!

They can usually tell around 20 weeks and you're almost there, so depending on the position of the baby, ther's a good chance! The prediction is never 100% positive. At my 20 week ultrasound, they could only tell me 75% Girl! I was uneasy about that, but now, several ultrasounds later, I have been told GIRL every time, so I'm pretty sure!

I believe doctors don't like to try to tell a babies gender until after 3 months so you should be fine. My first ultrasound was done around 18 weeks and they told me it was a girl (I have 3 boys so far) so I was skeptical but they did a second ultrasound 2 months later and it was still a girl so....

It just depends on how cooperative your baby is and if you have a good ultrasound tech. Good luck! I hope you get the baby that you want.

I was 20 wks, they could tell the sex, it was right.

Maybe 20 wks is the best time to tell the sex cuz where I go, they won't do an ultrasound before 20 wks unless there is a possiblity something may be wrong, or if they think you're having twins etc.

It's a little easier to tell if it is a boy since the penis sticks out. However my doctor waited until I was about 23 weeks to tell me I was having a boy while pregnant w/ my son.

when i had my first ultra sound they said that it was a girl but they couldnt really tell because her legs were closed. If they do tell you the sex they should be able to tell you the percentage chance of either sex
