Well, in Mississippi it's illegal for a woman to have an abortion. My best friend Porsha is VERY sexually active so every time she gets pregnant she drinks vinegar to get rid of "it". I was wondering if vinegar really does work or is it something else.

I think that is what one would call an old wives' tale. Vinegar tastes bitter, but does not cause an abortion. It sounds like she has just been "lucky" to have not gotten pregnant yet. If she is wanting to be so sexually active, she need to use protection, against pregnancies, and std's, aids, etc. It only takes "one time" to get std's or aids. Honest. I used to know a gal that did it "once" with the wrong guy, she now has a cocktail of meds to take every morning, and if she throws up during, has to start all over. That is with hiv, aids. Please tell your friend, Porsha, the baby is not an "It", from conception on, God watches every baby being formed in the mother's womb. And, the baby's heart starts to beat at three weeks of the start of the pregnancy. Just as she was not an "It", any baby she concieves, is not an "It"-EVER. And if she does not want to get pregnant, either keep her legs closed, or use protection--every time. Take care.

Vinegar and Miscarriages

No. Drinking any amount of vinegar will not cause a miscarriage at any point of time in a pregnancy. It's definitely NOT a good idea to try to end a pregnancy by taking any household preparations or drugs unsupervised.

No other preparations should be used to attempt causing a miscarriage. Most will not work, and none will work safely. Trying to cause a miscarriage without the guidance of a physician may cause serious damage to a woman's body and health many women die from such attempts every day worldwide.

All the vinegar will do is upset your stomach really bad.

LOL, NO! The only thing is going to do is give you acid reflux probably and burn the **** out of your throat and stomach. Is this a serious question? Things you drink have absolutely NO way of "terminating" a pregnancy, early or late. (Excluding the obvious, alcohol, but that isn't even all the time). "Why the hell would anybody want to know that?" My BF just asked me...I ask the same thing. LOL

Vinegar will not get rid of anything. It will only sour her stomach and make her sick. If you're confused about this you need to talk to your parents. I'm sure they'd be happy to talk to you. Hope this helps! Good luck.

No dear, it wont. Vinegar may help if you wash the vagina just after sex but doesn't work ot all if taken orally. GO for emergency contaceptives rather.

If she really wants to get rid of pregnancy, she must have lots of pine apple, pappaya, and sesame seeds.
