depends on the reasons for the c-section, depends on how long it has been since your last baby, depends on how the surgury was done, depends on you dr and hospital. Its a decision you will have to make with your doctor.

Don't believe anyone who says "once a c-section, always a c-section" My sister had a successful v-bac 2 years ago, with no complications and no drugs! Many drs won't do them due to malpractice insurance problems, you may have to search a little to find a dr who will attempt it. But the most important thing is the health of the baby. If its too risky, don't do it. My sister was a prime cantidate for a v-bac. Her original c-section was due to an emergency, premature delivery. She waited 3 yrs to get pregnant, her scar hed healed well and her incisions were both horizontal. She had to find a new OB, her orignal dr would have nothing to do with a v-bac. But there were never any complications at all. And her son is now a healthy 2yr old.

Good luck!!!

it is possible to have a vaginal after C-section, commonly called a V-BAC.

YOu need to talk to your doctor and get a second opinion if necessary. I had a C-section for my first and wanted a vaginal for my second. The doctors told me this was possible but at the end they decided to do another C-section because of the size of the baby.
The size of the baby and how well you have healed from your past C-sections will be factors in determining whether or not a VBAC will be considered. I do urge you to get a couple of opinions though as some doctors, just for the sake of convenience will lean towards the C-section regardless of the circumstances.

yes you can but i will warn you that there are many risks and you may have complications that cause you to lose your baby. i wouldnt reccomend having a vaginal delivery after a c section. you should talk to your doctor and see what your doctor says and talk to them about the risks of it. and then you can make your decision from there. i just know someone who had a vaginal birth after c section and there were alot of complications because of the c section the first time and she ended up losing her baby. so just talk to your doctor and find out risks and what not.

I'm in the same boat as you. This will be my third c-section. My doctor told me I had to deliver c-sect b/c of my previous 2. But I've been told by other people that some doctors will do a VBAC2. It just depends on your doctor and how you feel about it. If the doctor says you have to and you don't want to go to another doctor and another doctor until you find one that will let you deliver vaginally.
Good luck!

No, it is necessary on the third time that you undergo c-section. I was advised by my doctor this, because I had 2 c-section before. And so on my third, i should undergo c-section; can't go normal anymore.

yes. you can tell your doctor that you would like to do a VBAC (vaginal birth after c-section). as long as there arent any extenuating circumstances that require the surgery.

I agree with the other girl. You really gotta ask your doctor, but it certainly is possible to deliver naturally. A friend of mine did it with no problem after her c-section.
