Pregnancy - March 2007

I came off birth control in February to try to conceive. I did all the right things at the right time, and I have no sign of my period coming. I'm two days late so far, but I know that your cycle can change when you come off the pill. I took a test this morning and it was negative. Is it possible I could be pregnant but the hcg levels are too low? Can someone please share with me your experience of having negative tests before positive ones and how late you had to wait? Thanks!!

I just posted a question a couple of days ago....but I have some more questions. My next sonogram isn't scheduled until the 10th of April....and I don't want to be seem before then...(too many visits...) um....I did mention something about mucous with some blood....and just recently I've been having a lot of pressure in my pelvic area....and it hurts when I have intercourse...I know that personal....but I'm just curious....every so often (throughout the day) I get sharp pains in my abdomine.....I was wondering if anybody knows what may be wrong? If it could be placenta previa? The only reason I thought about it possibly being placenta previa is because a nurse mentioned something about it when I called the hospital about the mucous....I have had a previous c-section before...and that does pose a risk for a possible placenta previa in a later pregnancy. Please if you have any information...I would really appreciate your comments/ advice

Im trying not tohave a pity party for myself but I am so stressed and I am 11 weeks pregnant, my bachelorette and my fiances bachelor party is tomorrow night and I just keep picturing him with strippers and I feellike Im gonna cry. he is a good guy and I trust him i just think Im emotional. Plus my Dad just went into the hospital to be tested for prostate cancer and Im trying to be tough for my mom. Am I hormonal or being dramatic, Im at work and fighting back the tears when I should be happy. No one knows about my baby yet, I might have too tell my parents now before the wedding. How do I relax, what do I do???

January 2007 was my first period in a year, Their was no cause as to why i wasn't getting my period i have had tests such as my pituitary gland, thyroid, prolactin levels, liver/kidney function, LH and FSH levels tested and everything was perfect....Mind you I am 20 years old. anyways my doctor gave me a progesterone challenge 10mg for 7 days to see if that would induce a period and it did so then she suggested i use a natural progesterone cream the last ten days of my cycle..Well in february i had spotting on the 3 and 4th then the spotting started again on the 9th and lasted til the 15th then i started my period on the 16th, I had only been using the cream for about 3-4 days when i started my period so i had to stop. This month i was suppose to start on the 14th but it never came( was even using the cream) and the past week i have had sore breasts mostly the nipples. I took a preg test this morning and it came out negative so what now?? hubby and i would like to conceive..

This is my 3rd baby in 3 years. It's been a very easy pregnancy up to now but yesterday i began to get cramps, i figured no big deal, i must have overdone it with chores. So i showered hoping to ease the tension and nothing. By 8:00 i was feeling incredibly nauseous and the cramps were in my back, stomach and hips and going down my legs just like it did during labor with my 2nd dd. I was restless in bed and stayed on my heating pad until 1.a.m when it got incredibly unbearable. I have a good tolerence for pain but this is awful. I was in agony and debating whether to go to the hospital, but my husband wasen't home from work yet. It's now 10.a.m and my phone has decided to quit working so i can't even call my doctor, there's no dial tone for some reason. But the pains are in my stomach, back and sides still and no amount of positioning or walking is helping ease the pains. Braxton hicks aren't meant to be this painful especially for this long - any ideas till i can call my doctor?

I know I feel the baby move. But, when I put my hand on my stomache I can't feel it from the outside. I was just wondering when my husband will get to feel it. This is my 4th child. My youngest is almost 7 so I forgot a lot!

Only for those whove been through an abortion plz .... I am feelin so illl at the moment and feel as thogh my child is punishing me for going through with the abortion I know its due to the pregnancy but I just feel so guilty. Its the right thing to do as im 17 no job and starting college soon and my b.f's at college also we dont want to live off the goverment for a house or money. But keep questioning myself I had a scan and
they saw nothing ( at 6 weeks) , althogh I wasnt countng on it I feel as though my baby didnt want me to know it was there. I just want to feel its ok and that I will gt over it and have children with my partner later on in life , and forget this ever happened. Has anyone else gone through this????

I was told i couldn't have children a few years ago, i met my boyfriend in August last year and love him with all my heart,and i know he loves me. I'm 27 weeks with my fourth child and began leaking from my breasts today. I felt it coming now for about a week my chest has been tight (like missing a feeding when nursing). My youngest is 3 1/2, so I don't exactly remember when it started when I was pregnant with her.

I guess I'm just curious when it began happening to the rest of you other pregnant women out there.

I receive alot of "funny" looks from people when they see me with my 2 year old daughter; and see that I am pregnant again. I finished highschool, I am in College and I work. I have always been athletic, but never really had to work out because I played so many sports. I wanted to look into prenatal yoga, but have never even taken a regular yoga class. Will this be a problem?

last night i was woken up around 2am because i was feeling so nauseated. i have been vomiting about once an hour since then. my head hurts and my throat hurts and my nose is runny, but i was sick before this. along with the nausea now my back is aching and my stomach also hurts. i'm inclined to believe this is just the flu, but i am worried it might actually be morning sickness.

Has anyone ever been woken up by morning sickness like this? i know its not "just in the morning" but does it ever effect the night like that? or does it just sound like the flu?

Ladies, any advice for dealing with this horrendous hip pain? I'm now 25 weeks and have had this hip pain for the last week or so every night. I wake up at about 4AM and toss and turn the rest of the night because I am in pain. I know I can take Tylenol but do not want to be taking it every night. Any good sleep positioning tips? I'm losing a whole lot of sleep. I so wish I could lay on my back instead of my side! HELP!!!!!!

Okay I have a friend of mine who hasn't had her period yet due to breast feeding and her daughter is about 8 months old. She thinks she might be pregnant. She has some symptoms but nothing major. Last pregnancy the pregnancy test never showed up positive. Now and this is a quote from her "The thing that confused me about the last test was that you're not supposed to look at it after ten minutes because there might be an evaporation line - which is kind of clear but looks slightly less white than the rest of it. I looked at the test later (because I'm obsessive) and it was a little bit blue. The blue only shows up with the hCG hormone (when you are pregnant)." I know you are all going to say go the DRs and hav it checked out which is fine but have any of you had an experience with this and what was the outcome? Do you think she is pregnant? Thanks!

It's a yucky quesiton, but what's normal and what isn't? I know too much is abnormal, or different colours / smells, but are we meant to have a little every day i.e. the white / creamy stuff? It's something I've never paid any attention to but apparently it ties in with pregnancy? Does it occur in very early pregnancy? Being a woman is so confusing!! How does everyone else's work (if they even pay attention!!)
