Pregnancy - March 2007

Usually my periods are heavy, long, and painful. This month, it came and went EXTRA EARLY. I didn't even know I was having one because I had NO cramps (i usually have at take 3 Advil at a time) and I was spotting by the 3rd day. This is VERY unusual for me. Could I be pregnant? Please answer soon. I'm getting married in 3 months and if i am i will have to begin calling and postponing....that would suck.

Im 8 weeks pregnant and am feeling so light headed and tiered I am drinking plenty of water etc but am finding it difficult to eat as nothing looks appetising is there anyhting I can do or has anyone else experienced this??

When I had my first ultrasound it said I was due on April 26 and then when I had my second ultrasound it said I was due on April 15th. I have actually been feeling a little weird down there. Does anybody actually know if you can feel when you start to dialate. So can somebody tell me how far aong they think I am.

Well I asked a question yesterday about pain during intercourse. I saw my doctor and she said my baby is VERY low and no more sex. Well even though I had NO sex drive this pregnancy being told none has proven to make me want some. lol So.. my question is... how do I get over it? I know I wont do ANYTHING to hurt my baby so I will have to get over it but how do I make it something that is not on my mind 24/7 now? Thanks for any help. :D

I am 19yr old girl. I was having romance with my boy friend of age 21yr. During that course it thus happened that his penis came in contact with my buttocks but not with my vagina, and he doubted that sperms were released . I haven't yet had my menstrual periods this month, last time i had it on 14th feb. We are now scared that whether i would be pregnant. This shouldn't happen. Can you help me know whether i will be pregnan or not? If at all there are any such chances could u please suggest any contraceptive methods?

Okay I am 33 weeks and my belly just recently starting rounding out and becomming a bit more noticeable...but nothing like I pictured!! Over the next few weeks will it get really big or am I stuck w/ a small baby bump:( My body type was about average pre-pregnancy, and my doctor says I'm doing fantastic with my weight gain, I've only been gaining a pound every 2-3 weeks, (I gained most of it in the beginning!) So far I have put on 26lbs. Any Advice?

ok im 14 weeks along and for some reason people always question me about stuff like im lying, like the fact im already wearing some maternity clothes, some say that if im showing this early then i must be further along. or i just started feeling little flutters when i lay down and one lady said that it was waay to early and it was just gas i felt........um i know the difference between gas and fluttering...i dont normally get gas that far down!! why are people doing this? one lady at work ( total witch) even told something she thinks im lying about being pregnant becuase i am never sick and still really small.....um hello whats it matter to you if im pregnant or not? how can i deal with this? i know whats going on with my body but it seems like some people mainly the ones at work question everything i do like im lying about it.

Hi im 31 weeks pregnant and am quite petite, i even have to wear kids size shoes!! My midwife is concerned because the baby is in trasverse lie position and she thinks this is because baby has got no room to turn around. What will happen week by week as she gets bigger inside me im a bit confused as what the outcome is going to be!!

My las period was on 12/6/06 and I am now 15 weeks pregnant I had sex with my bf on 12/19/06 he finished inside of me. I had sex with my friend on 12/23/06 he didn't finish inside of me, we had sex before he didn't finish inside and I never got pregnant and though I know in my heart is my bf's baby I still have that doubt. Can you guys help me! Don't judge me either I am not the only one who sleeps with two different guys around the same time!

i`m supposed to start around the 12th and me n my boyfriend had sex the 9th of this month [used a condom everytime] had sex the 16 & 17th [used a condom everytime] and had sex the 20th and used a condom but i still havnt started i don`t know why if we used protection EVERYTIME. does it delay ur period or could this be a bad sign.

I'm pregnant? I do Advanced TaeBo everyday for an hour. Or should I just cut back to the basic if i am pregnant? I don't know if I am yet. I am going to get a test after work. I have Thyroid disease and I did weigh 184lbs when I found out. I have lost 30 lbs since I got everything under control. I want to loose 20 more lbs (if I'm not pregnant) before summer. And if I am pregnant I don't want to gain the weight back so should I keep working out even if I am pregnant? Or should I just walk everyday if I am or what?

I have been having real sharp stomach pains and i went to the doctor they asked when was my last period and i said 2/16 and he suggeseted a blood test to make sure i wasn't pregant to give me4 the medication that he wants to since it requires you not to be pregant!!! After i went home after the boold test I came one ( my period came) after being about 2 weeks late..... So the chances of me being pregnant with my period is ???

My last period was Feb. 9, I was scheduled to start again on Mar. 8 and I have not yet. My thought is because I had just started using the Nuva Ring in Feb. and it messed up my period. Well I didn't find out till last week that the ring was only suppose to stay in for 3 weeks and then a week free week, I didn't take it out until Mar. 19 that is a total of 35 days and I read yesterday that the ring becomes ineffective after 28 days and on the 29th, 30th and 31st day it was in I had sex without any other birth control method. I took a pregnany test and it was negative but if I conceived on the days after the ring was in 28+ days then it would be too soon to tell. I also read yesterday that their are only a few days a month a women can get pregnant and I don't know when I ovulate so with this information if anyone can help give me a clue as to what you think I would appreciate it. Also I would like to add I am 27 and been w/my b/f for 1 yr. & although not planned we would be happy.

Ok..Im very confused at the moment..on January 21st I had spotting for a week then a week later the same again.I didnt have a period for the whole of February and still havent gotten it to this day.Ive done a hpt and it was negative..is it possible I can still be pregnant?Ive been reading up on the symptoms of pregnancy and the only thing I dont seem to have is sore breasts and although I have been sick in the morning its only been 3 or 4 times..could it just be stress?

For any1 who has gone thru the induction process, I am scheduled to be induced on 4/4. My Dr told me kinda what to expect but that evry person and labor is different so it'll kinda be unpredictable. What was ur experience? What time did u have to arrive at hosp, were you hooked up to monitors right away, were u able to walk the hosp, did the contractions get gradually stronger or strong all at once, how long b4 u actually delivered and was it a good experience? Oh! and if you had a vaginal birth prior to being induced, were the induced contractions stronger or weaker than natural ones??? I've heard that induced contractions are often stronger than natural. Did they strip ur membranes, break ur water, use Foley catheter, use Cytotec or any combo?? Please be thorough. I'm hoping I'll deliver b4 this induction but just in case, I'd like to know what other people have gone thru cuz I know very little about it. Thanks!

i am a day late for my periods... i was feeling nausea, sore boobs, increased appettite and slight headaches...so took a test yesterday night, got a proper but a faint line. checked today as well twice...got positive results but the lines are still faint but visible...and they appeared within 3 to 4 mins of my tests. i was trying the same brands for last 11 months but always negative...this is the first time i have got a positive and not once but thrice for three different urine samples...plz let me know if i am pregnant...coz i was really desperate to become pregnant

I read the other day about a woman who had a membrane sweep at 36+5. I don't want anyone to answer that babies are considered term at 37 weeks. That may be, but they are not considered DUE until your due date, and because that is an estimate, not considered OVERDUE until 42 weeks plus. A membrane sweep is a last resort before artificial induction so why is it offered so early in some places? Where I live you'd never be able to get one before 41 weeks. I refused one at 41+1 with my child because it was way too early to force her out if she wasn't ready to come!!

Anyone know why they are offered so early in pregnancy in some places?

I'm 12 weeks pregnant and had my booking appointment with my midwife at 8 weeks. The appointment for my first scan and blood/urine tests will be at 15 weeks, which seems rather late to me (the hospital said they just can't fit me in any sooner)! Do any of the tests need to be done any sooner than that?
