Hello all,
I'm 30 weeks with my first, and I read in some articles that you could start playing games with your baby. Well, one of the games involves putting a flashlight against your tummy and Baby will usually head towards the light or kick at it. My fiance and I immediately bought 2 flashlights (it was a kit) and have been trying this game out since I was 28 weeks. My baby is being quite stubborn and does nothing when the light is shining in on him! Are some babies just unresponsive to this or is this game a "myth?" Please share your experiences with me.
On a more positive note, he does respond when my fiance pokes at him, and these two can play this game seemingly forever! Thanks for all your help!

Ok this question may sound silly but here it goes...Monday, March 19th I hit my 17 week mark. So this week I have been in my 18th week. So when people ask me..."How many week along are you?" Do I say 17 weeks or 18 weeks?

I want to have kids one day but my boyfriend's condom broke last night and I am a little nervous about the timing, and I am not ready for a child. I have read that the morning after pill can cause side effects for future pregnancies such as the baby having down syndrome etc. When an abortion is performed does the mother still get the same side effects?

My cycle is now 9 days late...Had faint tests over weekend...had to tilt to see the lines.I had a blood test on monday that came back with an hcg of 2...I was in such disbelief I went right to the drugstore and bought another hpt and ironically it had a faint +immediately...I would also liketo mention i used different brands as well.......how can this be possible? I have had frequent urination, headaches all week last week, loss of appetite which is improving this week,3-4am wake ups to pee,my breasts are huge, had nips on fire on and off for a few days, menstral like cramping in ab area followed by leg cramping, walked into my home the other day and asked my son what is that smell...it was the glade airfreshner i bought over a month ago. I'm 5 weeks right now and so confused!!! Has anyone ever experienced this? I feel crazy....crying for no reason..

How do I forgive my pencil for acting bad in school today? It wouldn't write, kept crying, and talking out loud. Suddenly, my teacher yelled at it.. and my poor pencil started crying. I couldn't help myself from crying too. The look on my pencils eraser was enough to make me lose it. I balled my eyes out for minutes..

I'm not happy with my #2 pencil.. it looks lonely.. how do I forgive and forget?

Guys this is so depressing.. I've grown close to this pencil.. and now.. I dunno, I hate to see it like this really. I can't take the agony of this pencil upset with me...

I'm pregnant with my 4th child and "IT'S A GIRL!". It was pretty easy picking out a name for my other kids because I either dreamed the name or mixed two names. I have 2 daughter's and 1 son and their names are:

1st daughter: Brianette Amarys - pronounced Bri-ah-net

2nd daughter: Yaniah Michelle- pronounced Ya-nai-ah

Son: Jaiel Alexander

It's a really strange feeling, I can't just sit down and do nothing today, I'm really restless, I've cleaned, washed etc... but not in typical nestmaking style, it's just anything to keep me busy.

I've not had Braxton Hicks or anything, but I am feeling pressure "down there", and occassionally I get a sort of stinging pain. I've had it for a few days, but my midwife says it's just because baby is head down and putting pressure on me.

I've been warned that my baby could be a bit early. I've had a high risk pregnancy and was on bed-rest until 28 weeks, and the doctor says there's still a risk she may come a bit before time.

Has anyone else had days like this during pregnancy? Is it normal?

Thanks!
