When I got pregnant, I had 3 months of bleeding on the dates of my periods. It was lighter but it was a period non the less. It is more and more common, my cousin was the same, and some of my friends, as well as people in my prenatal classes.

It is not a common occurrence, but it indeed does happen. In those women in whom it has happened, many have had a period well into their third or fourth month. See you ob gyn, for a palpation of your uterus to confirm a pregnancy. In any event, any of the tests that measure estrogen in the urine would confirm a pregnancy.
