When I had my first ultrasound it said I was due on April 26 and then when I had my second ultrasound it said I was due on April 15th. I have actually been feeling a little weird down there. Does anybody actually know if you can feel when you start to dialate. So can somebody tell me how far aong they think I am.

I am due april 11th. I was 37 weeks yesterday. So.... that would put you at 36 weeks and 4 days. I don't know if you can feel yourself dialate, this is my third pregnancy and I have never felt such a thing, only a doc can tell you if you have dialated any. I do know that braxton hicks contractions will help you dialate a little bit and help your cervix prepare for birth. Best wishes to you.

they will tell you to go by your fisrt ultrasound because that's what happened t o me. as for you question on dialating. well i feel the same way and went to my doc on monday because i felt a lot of pressure a a pinching feeling in what i thought was my cervix. she checked and i am 2 cm dialted and 50 % effaced. my first due date was may 5th and then my second was april 25th but it may be off considering i didn't find out i was pregger until i was 3 months

I'd go by the first ultrasound. When is your LMP? That would help figure it out. I'm due April 25th and my LMP was 7/19/06. Hope that helps a little bit.

Well I would go with April 26th cause the later you have ultrasounds done the less acurate they are for predicting due dates. Weird down there feeling are probbably your babies head engagging....this is normal as far along as you are..good luck.

Dialation in most cases doesnt start until labor hits. But your cervix may start to eface before labor starts, if you doctor notices that you are efacing, that is a good sign that labor is near.
