Okay I have a friend of mine who hasn't had her period yet due to breast feeding and her daughter is about 8 months old. She thinks she might be pregnant. She has some symptoms but nothing major. Last pregnancy the pregnancy test never showed up positive. Now and this is a quote from her "The thing that confused me about the last test was that you're not supposed to look at it after ten minutes because there might be an evaporation line - which is kind of clear but looks slightly less white than the rest of it. I looked at the test later (because I'm obsessive) and it was a little bit blue. The blue only shows up with the hCG hormone (when you are pregnant)." I know you are all going to say go the DRs and hav it checked out which is fine but have any of you had an experience with this and what was the outcome? Do you think she is pregnant? Thanks!

It was a very faint line @ the appropriate time and then showed up blue at 10 minutes. Was the very faint line a positive?

You have to read the test within the time period listed because after that time, you will get a false positive. If it was read after the time, it is NOT accurate and you should take another test. It might help to take the test first thing in the morning because then the hormone has a chance to build up in the urine overnight. Good luck!!!

The results are accurate up to ten minutes. anything after that might not be accurate enought to confirm a pregnancy. Tell her to try another kind of hpt and see what that does. Alot of the time periods don't come back until you stop breast feeding but it doesn't stop you from being able to get pregnant. Good luck to your friend.

You are not suppose to read a test after 10 min. but if she saud there was a faint line before that then she could be pregnant, a faint line is still a line!!

that's why you're not supposed to look at it after 10 mins because it could alter it and make it look poistive when it's not.

If it was faint but still there (like with some colors not just able to see the strip then you're probably preggers and faint line is still a line

i dont think of absolutely everyone ought to offer you an answer to that, because you in basic terms waited 30 seconds, and then got here back later, i for my area dont understand. ive been looking up the pimples element too although, like over night my face broke out soo undesirable, such as you placed it ideal a fricken 14 year previous lol. so i might say try lower back for specific.reliable success and toddler airborne dirt and dust

She could be if she has had recent unprotected sex and if she isn't on any type of BC. She is more likley to get pregnant because she already has one baby and they say that once you have one your chances are higher
