They usually don't check fetal positioning that early because there's plenty of time and most babies turn before they reach full term.
At 28 weeks' gestation 25% of babies are breech, and the percentage decreases approaching term (40 weeks' gestation).

At 21 weeks you have absolutely no reason to worry - the little guy is going to be in a million positions before he gets too comfortable in one.
If this occurs closer to the due date you can always request for an external manipulation. I know women who have had this done, they say it is very uncomfortable and in more than one case the baby had turned back into breech by the next day. Babies even continue to move during labour - so those who present head down can even change at the last minute.
In the event of a breech at delivery, many babies have been brought into this world bottom first. I understand that a standing position during delivery is one of the best ways to deliver a breech if you are going to go natural (of course, this would not work with an epidural). Interview your delivery team and make sure that they are fully supportive and capable to deliver in whatever manner you wish, under safe circumstances. Remember breech does not unequivocally equal a c-section!
Best wishes and enjoy your pregnancy and birth - it's a magical time!

There is still time for baby to turn. If after like 32 weeks baby is still breech then baby will probably stay that way. When I was preggers my son was breech and I let them do version. This is where they try and manually turn baby around. They give you an IV and meds to relax the uterus, rub oil on your belly, and put a hand under your breasts, and down by the pelvis and turn baby. It didn't work for me, and I thought it was very painful, after he didn't turn they just gave me a c-section. So you shouldn't have any complications from it probably just a c-section.

I'm not sure of any complications at this time in your pregnancy. Please consult with your OBGYN for further info. You are about half way trough your pregnancy, and the baby still have time to change position before you reach 36-40 weeks. the normal position for birth is for the baby's head to be down in the pelvic area. It's ok to be concern, but i'm sure the baby will turn around. Enjoy the kicking, it'll come soon. Good Luck!!

It's perfectly normal for the baby to be in breech position at this age. Most babies don't turn until after 6 months, so your baby still has plenty of time. Don't worry.

Well, I am 32 weeks and my my baby is actually laying cross ways in my stomach right now. I friend of mine was breech scheduled for a c-section, went in and the baby had turned over night. So she cancelled the c-section and was able to deliver natural. You are not far enough to be worrying about this. My doctor isn't worried about mine yet.

Your baby still has plenty of time to move. My docs. don't worry until you are 36 weeks and the baby is still breech. Most are breech at 21 weeks they still have plenty of time to move around in there.

There's still plenty of time for the baby to turn around, and he/she probably will more than once before its ready to come out! It's too early to really worry about that right now!

Still too early to tell, you have a lot of time before the baby comes. It will turn and move alot before its time to deliver.
