Like the other ladies said, it depends what state you live in, but I went through the system because my cousin was 16 when she got pregnant and her boyfriend was 19. Nothing could be done about it because 16 is the legal age of consent. It is only illegal if the girl is 16 and there is a 4-5 year age difference between the girl and the guy. So nothing could be done about this boy my cousin was with. Also, find out when this boys birthday is, if he turns 20 before the girl turns 17, maybe you could do something then.. but it has to be quick before she turns 17. Good Luck.

Depends on the state but this is really important if her being with a 19 yr old didnt bother you in the first place dont pull the stat rape claus just cuz he knocked her up. Took two to tango should have nipped it in the bud to start with. And btw alot of states dont give jail time just probation and community service

Well, since your name is Bay Layd I'm guessing you live in the Bay Area of California? If so, in California,

"It is a misdemeanor for a person who is at least 18 years old to have sexual intercourse with a minor who is three years younger than that person."

If it was more than 3 years, it could be a felony. There is no jail time, but there is a fine.

"An adult who engages in an act of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor at least three years younger than the adult is liable for a civil penalty up to $10,000"

They don't need to go to jail at all. A 16 year old is legal so they don't have to go to jail anyway and people only go to jail if someone presses charges.

Depending on the age of consent in your state, in some its 16 others 17. If its 16 then he wont get in trouble because the 16yr old is old enough to make her own decisions.

Depending on where you live probably no time at all. As long as the girl was 16 I believe that is the age of consent in every state(in some its younger).
